Remember to say “Thank you”.

When you do a good deed or help someone, you do expect a thank you in return don’t you? And when you hear a thank you from someone, doesn’t it feel good? To hear a ‘thank you’ makes you feel special because that word is special indeed, now let’s have a look at how much we use this word on a daily basis to our Lord. Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Psalm 136:1-26

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever”

Place yourself in situations where you really expected a ‘thank you’ but didn’t hear it and think of all the good things God has done for you and the number of times you forgot to thank Him, remember God is good irrespective of what situation you are in and He alone deserves praises and thanks giving.

So today look back and you can be sure you would have a list of things to thank the Lord for and get into the future thanking Him every day, nevertheless, Thank Him for giving you salvation and for His son Jesus Christ.
