Psalm 89:2 NIV
I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
What a wonderful way to start the day with today’s devotional, in which the psalmist reminds us of God’s unwavering love and faithfulness. As we reflect on this verse, we are reminded of the deep and unshakable love of God that remains constant, even when life around us changes. In our busy context, where we face challenges—whether in our personal lives, work, or even in our communities—the truth of God’s faithfulness remains our anchor.
God’s love is not conditional or based on our circumstances; it is eternal and unchanging. Just as the psalmist declared God’s faithfulness in the heavens, we too can proclaim His goodness in our lives. His promises are sure, His presence is constant, and His love is steadfast.
Let today be a reminder for us to trust in God’s faithfulness. No matter what storms we face, His love will stand firm forever.
Lord, You are beyond description. Your love for us is limitless and unconditional. We pray Lord, that this love will sink into us deeply. When we face anxiety and worry, we’ll remember Your love for us and know that You are greater than the changing circumstances and challenges. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
