Strength Through Christ

Philippians 4:13 NKJV

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

This powerful verse is a reminder that our strength doesn’t come from our abilities, resources, or circumstances—it comes from Christ. Paul wrote these words while facing significant challenges, yet his confidence in Christ’s power gave him peace and perseverance.

The “all things” Paul speaks of aren’t about achieving worldly success or overcoming every obstacle by our own efforts. It’s about relying on Christ to face whatever life brings—whether abundance or lack, joy or hardship. His strength equips us to endure trials, embrace our purpose, and glorify God in every situation.

Today, reflect on areas in your life where you feel weak or overwhelmed. Instead of striving on your own, turn to Christ. Pray for His strength to fill you, guide you, and sustain you. Remember, His power is made perfect in your weakness, and through Him, nothing is impossible.

With Christ as your source, you can confidently face the day, knowing that His strength will carry you through anything you encounter.

Prayer: Lord, Your power is made perfect in my weakness. Help me always remember that my help comes not from the resources I have, my abilities, or my connections. It is not in my job title, or how much I have, but it is who I have. You are my all in all. Give me the confidence to face the day, knowing I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Amen.

    Dear Bethel AG,

Thank you so much for this devotion. I needed it desperately, and it resonated deeply with me.

Earlier this morning, I wrote this prayer:
    Dear Lord,
Weary soul, with weights that bear,
Opinions scream, and body aches with care.
But still I run, through trials and strife,
Dear Lord, be my backbone, and give me life.
Push me forward, through the darkest night,
And give me strength, to face the giant’s fight.
I leap with faith, into the unknown sea,
Dear Lord, please guide me, and set me free.

As I was pondering and praying, I received a notification from Bethel AG. It was the kind of reminder I needed – a warm embrace and validation that I am seen and heard.

In that moment, I wrote this:

My heart poured out through the corner of my eyelashes, where tears silently rolled across,
With every tear sown in prayer, what was already present becomes obvious to me,
A truth I once failed to see, now made obvious,
Moments, when my pillow’s soaked wet with tears,
God’s love reminds me, He’s with me, and He’ll calm all my fears.
So I’ll hold on to faith, and trust in His design,
Knowing that God’s love is with me, He’s with me and he’ll remain.

I couldn’t say any more about how this devotion helped me, rather, I’d like the prayers I wrote to speak for themselves. Thank you so much 😉
Lots of Blessings, fervent prayers, best wishes, coming your way, thank you for all that you do, in Christ.
