Psalm 37:18 “The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever”
We live in a world that is ruled by money, power and treachery. People are treated based on their wealth and stature in society. Nobody wants to fight for a good cause, unless there is something for them in it. The world favours the immoral and the wicked.
Even though, we as believers live in this same profane world, we are not affected by it. This is because we do not belong to this world. Our keeper is the Lord of the Holy Bible, also known as the God of justice. God is just. It is a part of His immaculate character. He can never be unjust.
You may be experiencing unfair treatment in office, in society, in your friend circle or even at home. What is rightfully yours has been given to someone else. Someone else has been rewarded for your hard work. You are never noticed nor appreciated. These could be trying times but do not despair, because your battle belongs to the Lord. He is watching over you and will reward you for your innocence. Our Lord is faithful and forever fighting for the righteous.
We as believers are called to hold on to His steadfast love, that will protect us from the wiles of the wicked and give us victory in due course. The ones He calls righteous will receive inheritance in abundance.
As we celebrate earth day today, let us remind ourselves that the earth and everything in it belongs to the Lord. We as children of God, stand to inherit everything that belongs to our Father. Therefore, take time to appreciate the beauty and the perfection God has put into creating this masterpiece called earth and the wonderful blessing we receive through it all.
