The Love of Our Father God

For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God -John 16:27

The Lord Jesus came into the world to represent the Love of The Father God in this world. Let us meditate on the deeper meaning of this verse.

Because you have loved Me and believed that I came forth from God -This may sound like a condition but let us understand the context. The Father God already loved us. He wanted humans to understand that there is hope, peace and salvation that we can claim in our lives.  So, He came in the form of a man to teach us and give us the eternal promise of salvation. So, He loved us first and when we love the Son then His love engulfs us and makes it complete.

Father Himself loves you -The Love of the Father God. This is not a mere word. The love of God is referred to as the Agape love. Agape love means the steady intention of the will to another’s highest good. Nothing compares to this love. It is practically impossible for a human to have a steady intention for another person’s good. We may think that we have our family and friends, but we all know there are limits to the extent of love that they can give to us.

Today, let us not feel in our hearts that we are unloved. Our Father in heaven knows every pain and loneliness in our lives . Let us allow His love to lead and fill our lives.
