The Millennial Kingdom

Isaiah 65:23

They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, And their offspring with them.

Every one of us have been affected directly or indirectly with the pandemic. We cannot understand everything. None of us can tag an accurate cause to what is happening around the world. But as believers of God, we should stand firm in our faith and hope that we will one day reign with God where we won’t work in vain, our young ones won’t die half way and there won’t be any weeping, but joy forever. The millennial kingdom as we call it, is going to be the time that God has planned for, is going to be a happier place that we can ever imagine. It will be a time of unprecedented safety, health, joy, family, love and laughter. It will be a time of great riches, and we won’t hear of or see any lacking or poverty. The curse on the ground that began after Adam’s sin will not be applicable anymore and even the deserts and barren lands will produce crops in plenty (Isaiah 35:1-2). It will be a time of abundant prosperity for the entire earth (Jeremiah 31:12). On the other hand, sickness in people will be less and people will live for so many years that, for a person who dies at the age of one hundred will be considered a child (Isaiah 65:20). So, let us gather ourselves together, cheer up and look forward to our reigning with Christ Jesus.
