Proverbs 12:28 NKJV
“In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.”
The way of righteousness is the life God desires for us—a path marked by obedience, faithfulness, and alignment with His will. It isn’t just about moral behavior but about walking in close fellowship with Him. Choosing righteousness leads to true life—fullness, peace, and the assurance of eternity in His presence.
The promise that “there is no death” reminds us that this pathway transcends earthly struggles. While physical death is a reality, the life of the righteous is eternal. Through Christ, we are invited to walk this path, where death has no power over our souls.
Walking in righteousness requires intentionality. It means turning away from sin and embracing God’s Word as our guide. While challenges and temptations may arise, the Spirit empowers us to stay on this life-giving path.
Today, examine your steps. Are you walking in God’s way, pursuing righteousness, and trusting His promises? Seek His guidance, knowing His path leads to abundant life now and forever. Stay encouraged—His way is always worth it.
Life on earth is temporary, and yet we give it so much thought that it worries us. But life after physical death is eternal. The path we choose today will dictate our eternal life. Jesus is the Only Way to eternal life. Are you willing to choose Jesus, or are you willing to risk life after death?
Lord, I thank You for the guaranteed eternal life with You that You have promised to all those who put their trust on the cross of Calvary and confess that Jesus is the Saviour of their soul. Father, while we are here on earth, help us examine our steps. Help us lead a life of obedience, seeking Your presence and guidance in all that we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
