Psalm 118:15
“The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.“
Psalm 118 is a thanksgiving psalm. Thanksgiving is not only for the past goodness of God but for all the goodness we will experience always. Psalm 118:15 says that the tents of the righteous are always filled with voices of rejoicing and salvation. And it is so because they witness the power of God always in their lives.
“Right hand of the Lord” represents the omnipotence of God. There is nothing impossible with God. So, those who hope and trust God shall witness His power in every situation of their lives.
Who could confess it better than David who saw God’s salvation when:
– His enemies encompassed him like bees,
– He was pressed down to be destroyed.
God always sustained him and made him triumphant. This is the story of all of us who trust and hope in Him, we can rejoice because the right hand of the Lord does valiantly in every challenge we face.
Let us sing His praises and proclaim His greatness always because “He will carry us“:
There is no problem too big, God cannot solve it
There is no mountain too tall, He cannot move it
There is no storm too dark, God cannot calm it
There is no sorrow too deep, He cannot soothe it.
Ch:
If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders
I know, my brother, that He will carry you
If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders
I know, my sister, that He will carry you
He said, “Come on to me all who are weary
And I will give you rest.
