Ephesians 1:3 NIV
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”
Jesus Christ is known throughout the world as THE SAVIOR, and rightly so. He is the only one who can deliver us from sin and destruction. However, this magnificent Messiah did more for humanity than meets the eye.
His death symbolised the forgiveness of our sins and the beginning of a new life, and it also reunited us with our Heavenly Father and gave us eternal life. His death not only took away our curses but brought us blessings in the process.
This selfless sacrifice of the Lord Jesus is not just for a chosen few but for the entire human race. It is because of Christ Jesus that now we are in good standing with our Father in heaven. So much so that we even have citizenship in heaven.
Now that we are aware of this truth, let us be mindful of the fact that the blessings our Father bestows upon us are not due to our good deeds, but because of what our Lord Jesus did on the cross.
Dear Lord, thank You for reuniting me with my Father in heaven. It is because of You that I can boldly approach Him with all my needs and have blessings in the heavenly realms. I love You, Lord Jesus. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
