John 14:6
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jesus spoke these words to comfort His disciples, assuring them that even when they could no longer see Him physically, they need not worry or seek guidance elsewhere. He is the only way to the Father—the path, the truth, and the life. In Him, they have all they need.
Ephesians 2:18 reinforces this truth: “For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.” Through Jesus, we are not just shown the way—we are given direct access to God.
So what do we do when we’ve lost our way? We often turn to a GPS, trusting it to guide us step by step. Yet, even with GPS, we sometimes get lost. Why? Because we rely on a system created by man—flawed and limited, just like us. But when we look to Jesus, we’re looking to the One who created the heavens and the earth. How could that ever go wrong?
Therefore, let us fix our eyes on Jesus—the One who made the way, who is the Truth, and who gives life. In Him, our direction is secure, our destination is sure, and our journey is filled with purpose!
Prayer: Jesus, I come to You this morning—the One who created the heavens and the earth. When I see no way forward, lead me in Your way. Guide me into Your truth, for I place my trust in You. Help me live a life that is worthy of Your calling, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
