Proverbs 10:7 The memory of the righteous is blessed, But the name of the wicked will rot.
The world says “Nice guys finish last!”
Evidenced in the corporate world, we have seen numerous cases of wickedness being rewarded over righteousness.
But, when He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, we are destined to be Triumphant! The righteous maybe oppressed today, but they will be glorified when the season is right! They will be rewarded with a legacy that will outlive their time on Earth.
In the Bible, we read about Saul in the old testament, who was appointed by God to be the first king over Israel. But, his wickedness led to destruction.
The Saul of the New Testament was wicked! He murdered the followers of Christ. But, after Jesus met him on the road to Damascus and fully transformed his life (including his name), he left a legacy that comprises more than half the books of the New Testament.
Most notably, the first Adam brought death to humanity. Jesus, the last Adam, gave life back to the world!
Jesus left a legacy that has outlived every person who tried to destroy His character. No other person in history has faced such opposition, and yet risen to be triumphant!
The world may reward wickedness with things that will wither away with time. But, the righteous are rewarded with timeless treasures!
