Galatians 4:4
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law.
In the words of the wisest man on Earth-To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. One such historical moment was the time that was fixed upon by the Almighty, His Son and probably the council of heaven. Not just some random time, but the appointed time which needed to be full and complete. The exact moment designed by the Lord, the time that every element in heaven and earth had been preparing and contributing towards. Only when everything had finished their part, was the unveiling of the most magnificent phenomena of God letting go of His only beloved Son take on flesh and the law that governed it to fulfil the very demands of that law.
Notice, the Lord sent His SON, not a baby. Christ Jesus was with His father before the incarnation and intruded time itself when He BECAME a foetus. Paul was very specific when he mentioned that Christ was born of a woman, for the Creator didn’t need another to create Him. Yet, He chose to be born under the law. Why? Why would the Almighty Father go through all of this? Why would Jesus agree to leave His Father? For a purpose. A purpose that was so paramount and priceless that nothing less than the Lord Himself would be enough to accomplish.
That purpose is YOU! Jesus came for YOU. His love for you is so extravagant and so lavish that He’ll do anything to literally ‘win you over’. Everything that happens around you is a part of the grand scheme of things in the divine plans of the Most High. Trust Him to work ALL things for your good.
Dear Father, thank you! Thank you for your love! Thank you for coming down in flesh just for MY redemption. Thank you that you became subject to the law so that I could be set free from it. Thank you for the manger, thank you for the cross, thank you for the tomb. Thank you for salvation!
