Isaiah 33:15-16 : “He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly…He will dwell on high; his place of defense will be the fortress of rocks; bread will be given him, his water will be sure.”
Being righteous means to be morally right. But how do we walk righteously? And how do we speak uprightly – with integrity, without hypocrisy?
When the Lord is our Shepherd, He guides us in Paths of Righteousness. When we walk with Him, in His Way, we are safe, we walk righteously, we speak uprightly.
When we walk with Him, we dwell on high because He puts us in a safe place, He becomes our defender, and our fortress.
When we walk with the Lord, we have everything we need, in Him, we lack nothing, He sustains us. He provides us the bread that we need, and our water too, for our soul – and for our body.
When we walk righteously, and when we speak uprightly, we dwell on high, the fortress of rocks become our defense, and bread and water will be given us.
Let’s ensure that we walk and talk the way of the Lord! Amen!
