We are His inheritance

Psalm 94:14
“For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.”

Psalm 94 was written in a time of distress. The psalmist here appeals to God to appear for His people against his and the nation’s enemies. The first part of the psalm speaks about conviction and terror to the persecutor, showing them their danger and folly. The second part speaks of God’s comfort and peace to the persecuted, assuring God’s promise and the psalmist’s experience.

Psalm 94:14 assures God’s children that they may have been cast down in their situation but will never be cast off by God. He will never cast them out of His covenant or out of His care. For God so loves them that He did not spare His Son and offered Him as a sacrifice for redemption.

This promise is true even today, there may be nothing what we are going through that will make God abandon us or forsake us. We are his possession and bought with a price.
Are we going through a hopeless situation like an unexpected sickness, financial crisis, or tough challenges in life and relationships? let us remind ourselves through these scriptures that Our God never leaves and forsakes. We are His inheritance.

Therefore let us be mindful that we may be cast down but never cast off by our almighty God. He will sustain us and protect us always.
