This is a new beginning to a life of faith, hope, and love. Come as you are to the arms of God, who sustains us day after day starting with a whole new year. Blessed are you as you find your strength in the Lord, a promise He has given as He dwells with us. Let our hearts be set on our God, for He is brighter than the sun, yet He allows just the right amount of light into the window of our lives. His sustaining power drives the entire creation, and most marvelous of all, His image is in us. He is a shield, which is to protect us from the prowling evil and temptations that hide in plain sight.
He is mindful of you, your family, society, city, country, governance, communication, activities, and all that is around it. His favor rests on us. The only thing for us to do is to walk uprightly, not by our weak plans of the flesh but by His spirit.
If you are a recent believer and haven’t yet experienced the goodness of Christ, consider it a more promising opportunity. He calls us all to taste and see His goodness. Rise, stand firm, put on the whole armor of God and march into a victorious year ahead. Challenges and circumstances keep changing but be assured that He who has called you never changes; He is the rock of our salvation.
Arise and build; make the firm choice to follow Jesus because He loves you. He renews your joy, strength, enthusiasm, and provision, all through the power of His love. This is a new year, a new beginning, and it offers a new sense of hope for living and believing in Jesus.
