You are preciously preserved!

Psalm 138:7

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.

How many of us have walked in the midst of immense trouble…so harrowing that you’ve felt it’s better to have been dead than to live a life like that. Probably a few might still be in ‘stuck’ situations for months or even years now where there really seems to be no way out. For those who have finished their ‘walks in the valleys’ they would themselves be surprised to have come out of those trials alive.

Beloved, you need to know at this moment that there is a purpose for your life. You’ve called unto the Lord in the day of trouble but are not able to see His deliverance. Be confident of this, that He is the Lord who answers prayers. Your prayers have been recorded and the background work has already been started by His angels, which is soon going to be manifest in the foreground of your life.

Just because you’ve been walking into crisis after crisis doesn’t mean that your God doesn’t have His eyes on you. In fact, HE is the one who preserves your life. Each time you’ve cried out to Him in anguish and felt like giving up, His right hand has sheltered and saved you from the wrath of your enemies. When negative and destructive thoughts cloud your thinking, replace them with thoughts of whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things, center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart. Stay blessed in the Lord Jesus!

Nothing works best as medicines like encouraging words. And so are the words of our Promise keeper. As it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds by the mount of the Lord. Thank you Jesus.
