Acts 5:38-39 – “…for if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!”
Gamaliel was a Pharisee, but a very wise man. The verses above are a snippet of his speech to those who opposed the early disciples and their teachings. There is so much truth in his words that we can apply in our lives even today. The bottom line is, if you are executing a plan that you know is in line with God’s will for you, it will not fail. It may be delayed, but it will not be derailed.
On the contrary, if you seek to do something outside of God’s will, you can be sure it will not work out well for you. If you are willing, the Holy Spirit will teach you to make wise decisions with a clear mind that is aligned with God’s purpose for you. When you heed His promptings and obey His word, you can be assured of God’s favor in your life.
Walking the path God has laid out for you guarantees God’s provision, protection and presence. Take care to follow His direction and nobody can hinder His purpose in your life. God’s plans will succeed in the end. Believe and declare the truth of Job 42:2 – “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”
