The Grace of God

Titus 2:11 – “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men…”

Grace is a precious gift God has given us. It is grace that set us free from our past sins, turned us towards the light and gives us hope for the future. It is God’s grace that we are living and breathing today. He provides our daily needs and protects us from evil. God grants us enough wisdom and strength for each day.

God’s amazing grace is so prevalent in our lives that sometimes, we may take it for granted. What should our response to God’s grace be? Titus 2:12-14 sheds some light…

  • We are to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions
  • Live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age
  • Wait for the appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ
  • Be a people of God’s possession
  • Be zealous for good works

By ourselves, we may not be capable of doing anything from this list… but we don’t have to do it alone. We have the Holy Spirit to train, equip and guide us every single moment of our lives. The more we seek God’s presence, the more He can help us live a life that glorifies His Name.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your amazing grace. May I never take it for granted. Teach me Your ways Lord, that I may live according to Your Word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
