1 Chronicles 16:8
Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people.
When was the last time you made known what the Lord had done in your life to the people around you? It’s so easy to talk about things that concern Christianity than to talk about Christ Himself and what He has done. We can talk at length about church, volunteering, Christian authors, Christian speakers, Christian theologies, etc., but what if we took a different approach and honored the Lord and what He has done for us by testifying of it instead?
If only, we could see the unseen, we would realize that the Lord has His Kingdom working ALL things for our good, night and day. Even when life is mundane, praise the Lord that there is no emergency or criticality that disrupts the mundane. When you still haven’t received the promotion or breakthrough that you’ve been waiting for the whole last year, and the year before, choose to praise the Lord for the invaluable life-lessons that have matured you through the difficult valley experience. While finances are still a struggle, health is still a battle, emotions are a turmoil, relationships are fragile, praise the Lord that through all the uncertainty, He is ever unchanging. We still have HOPE. We are still confident that He is faithful. Like He has always been in the past. With this conviction, we know that when we proclaim His goodness among the people, He is working on the marvelous plans of my prosperous future! Thank you Jesus!!!
