Not by Sight but by Faith

Psalm 91:11- 12

“He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands, they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.“

This scripture points out the immense love God has for His people. Those who trust the Lord will have nothing to fear because He will command His angels to protect them from all the dangers that lay ahead.

We live in a world where billions are spent on experiments and research because people only trust what they see. We have facts and figures to backup the theories. Logical decisions are made based on evidence.

When the pandemic hit us, the majority never saw the virus with our own eyes, but we knew it was real. We took it seriously because we saw the results.

Our relationship with God is the same. We cannot see the angels around us, but we can see their work. In our daily routine, relationships, unexpected circumstances, and through miracles.

Sometimes, we expect immediate results and doubt God’s presence, wanting to see if He is thinking about us. Psalm 91:11-12 is the ideal response to our doubts. We may not see or understand His ways, but we are always in His mind. God ensures that our every need is taken care of. No danger or enemy will stand in our way, nor will our feet strike a stone, because He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.

Let us not put our Lord to the test. Instead, let us trust the Lord with all our hearts.
