Proverbs 20:7
“The righteous man walks in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.“
In our walk with God, we are not alone we are equipped and empowered constantly by God. We don’t have to worry about our ability to do so because our strength comes from God. All we have to consider is a willingness to walk in His way. That is our part and it’s the most difficult step for us.
Walking in God’s way is walking in integrity. It surely requires His grace to accomplish it, however, our willingness plays a major role. Hence the above scripture mentions “righteous man”. A righteous man is one who willingly embraces God’s righteousness as the way for his/her life.
The consequences of walking in integrity are vast. It results in our lives here and now, being blessed irrespective of all the uncertainty that we face. It blesses our future generation too. Isn’t it a precious legacy one can leave
Let us remember what we sow today is been reaped not only by us but by our generations ahead. So let’s choose God’s way, let’s choose walking in integrity, Let’s choose walking upright in front of both God and man and be confident not just us but our future generation will be blessed too. Tools to walk in integrity are readily available through His Word. Let us leave the right legacy.
Blessed Day ahead
Dear Pastor,
thank you for this message. in our country, bribe is a rule and not an exception. Both in the Government and in the private sector greasing of palms by way of money or goods or services has become a normal practice. As they ( bribe takers) say ” no free lunches “.
To a believing Christian, they say, directly or indirectly if you don’t pay someone else is waiting to pay and take the order. We have experienced this and have struggled to stay afloat, currently also we are ” punished ” for not ” cooperating ” . But God has been faithful.
The other issue is payouts as commissions from ones own profit, without compromising on quality or time etc.. is that Biblically right?
