Matthew 18:19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven

As far as praying in solitary places is important in our relationship with God to strengthen ourselves, it is equally important to pray in Unity with one another to get God’s attention to our needs.

Jesus reveals this powerful truth about the magnitude of united prayer. He assures that the Father in heaven will hear the prayers of two or more of God’s children who are united in agreement and harmony praying in accordance with God’s desire. It is an evidence of God’s desire for His children to be connected in a loving community, supporting and uplifting each other through prayer.

God didn’t desire for us to walk this journey of Faith all alone. Life can challenge us, and we face trials and difficulties. There could be moments of despair and being sick, both physically and emotionally. The strength of fellowship with the believers who are close to us is vital in helping us fight the battles. When we stand together in Unity, our prayers carry greater strength to fight the trials.

God delights in the unity of His Children. When we come together in agreement with His presence, it brings joy to the heavenly Father. Praying in Unity with others helps us focus on seeking God’s desires rather than selfish motives. We encourage one another to seek His heart and pray accordingly. Our faith will grow when we see God answering our collective prayers. So, pray together to access God’s attention in Heaven.
