Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Psalm 37:1-2

In a world filled with injustice and wrongdoing, it’s easy to become consumed by anger or envy. We may look around and see the prosperity of the wicked, wondering why they seem to thrive while we struggle. However, Psalm 37:1-2 urges us not to fret or be envious of those who do wrong.

The passage reminds us of the temporary nature of their success. Like the grass that withers and the plants that die away, the prosperity of the wicked is fleeting. While they may seem to prosper for a time, their end is ultimately destruction.

As believers, we are called to a different path. We are called to trust in His timing and His justice. Instead of worrying about the success of the wicked, we are invited to trust in God’s promises and live according to His principles.

When we fix our eyes on God and His kingdom, we find peace and contentment that transcends our circumstances. We can stay rest assured that God sees the injustices of this world and will ultimately bring about justice in His perfect timing.

Today, let’s release our worries and fears about the success of the wicked. Let’s trust in God’s sovereignty and His promise to uphold the righteous. As we commit our ways to Him and delight in His presence, He will guide us and give us the desires of our hearts.
