In this message, Rev. Johnson V begins the **Month of Influence** by teaching that lasting influence is built on godly character, not charisma, position, or talent. Drawing from 2 Peter 1, he explains how faith must be strengthened with excellence, knowledge, self-control, steadfastness, godliness, and love to produce a life that impacts others for Christ. Be challenged to build your inner character, deepen your prayer life, and become a positive influence wherever God has placed you.

00:00 Let's do the confessions together. I believe in the Almighty God, our Father and Creator. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, God and my Savior. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He suffered, died, and rose again. He ascended into heaven. He shall soon come again. I believe in God, the Holy Spirit who worshiped and my guide. I believe in holy fellowship, faithful giving, and service to God in this church. I believe the Holy Bible is the perfect word of God. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have and I can do what it says I can do. Today as I learn the word of God here in my spiritual family, I am blessed, healed, and anointed for a holy and victorious living. I will never again be the same in Jesus' name. Amen. The Lord bless us. Please be seated. to the vast number of people who are

01:05 standing outside for lack of space inside and outside. I have a feeling that we are going to start one more service. Not only in the evening because evening is also overcrowded but I think morning also we will add one more service to handle this huge standing crowd until our new building comes. So we pray for that in the few months ahead. We may have we not may we will have to add services for so all of you who are standing I hope uh you won't stand too long we'll have one more service to accommodate more people somebody asked me pastor if you start one more service are you sure then nobody will stand so I said for some time I'm sure after that I don't know maybe we'll have to start serving

02:09 on Saturdays because Sunday it looks like it's getting full. There's no time. >> Hallelujah. >> Problems of a growing church are always a blessed problems. >> We want to see our country, our city touched by the love of God and people come to Jesus. That's a good thing. We start every month, first Sunday with Holy Communion, Holy Eucharist, where we partake of the Lord's body and his precious blood. The blessed commitment that the Lord gave us. When he parttook of the fruit of the grape and of the bread, and he said, "I will do this again only when I have come back and taken you into my kingdom." Which means today your pastor, pastor Johnson is breaking the bread, passing the cup. But one day it will not be me and I think it's going to

03:15 be very soon. It will be we will be in the presence of the Lord Jesus and he will partake of the table >> with us. Until then, what does this symbolize? This symbolizes the fact that his holy body was put to death, was destroyed on the cross. His holy blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of our sin. And that through that he has given us eternal life. Everybody dies. Why is Jesus death different? Because everybody dies and nobody comes back. Jesus died and he came alive physically out of the grave >> and never died again. >> And therefore we know that everything he spoke is true. Many people who speak about what happens after death, we have to doubt them because

04:19 they did not come back. How do they know what happens after death? But Jesus, we can believe because the Lord, the Lord Jesus, he died, he came back and said, "Guys, I know the way forward. Those who believe in me have eternal life." as we take the elements in our hands and we say Lord thank you that you showed the way forward and thank you that there is life eternal beyond the grave and abundant life on the earth through your holy spirit this month of June as we call it the month of influence of divine favor of victory it's our prayer Lord that your holy spirit will work in and as all of us who are baptized, committed disciples of our Lord, holding up the communion in our hands. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. That through it, we have been

05:24 adopted as your sons and daughters. Today, as we eat and drink of this holy life, may your holy spirit become abundant in us. In Jesus holy name we pray. Amen. Let's eat of his holy body and drink of his precious blood together. Lord Jesus, we thank you. We thank you that we belong to you. Thank you that you have made us your very own. Thank you. Thank you for the power of your Holy Spirit. And thank you today for healings that are happening here, physical healings, healings in financial realm, healings in relationship, healings in our spiritual life. Thank

06:29 you that healing of a variety is happening. For by your wounds we are healed. By your stripes we are healed. We thank you in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. As the ushers are going to pass the plastic bags or paper bags, environmentfriendly bags, those who want to drop the used cups, you may kindly do so. And at that time in a few minutes uh they're going to play a video that shows you uh it's summarizing 5 days of kids church VBS and 5 days of teens VBS in a few seconds. Take a look. Heat. Heat.

07:42 Heat. Heat. Fantastic. Thank you, Pastor Deepak and the entire Kids Church team, the coordinators, all the volunteers. You're making a difference in the lives of young people in the next 15, 20 years. They are the future church and thank you for influencing their lives. Pastors are available. All the pastors in the church about six of us all of us

08:45 are available for personal counseling and spiritual support. Just call the church office and uh ask for a pastor and they'll be available for you to meet. You are welcome whether it's on marriage and relationships or it is on personal growth or it is about life stages or is it about uh spiritual life and faith or maybe it's about grief crisis and trauma. The pastors are available for a variety of these kind of counseling to help you in God's word and to guide you in God's greater plan. So make use of it. Don't ignore it. uh pastors won't know if you don't make use of them because they are anyway caught up with enough people who are already taking their time. So make that effort to you know uh catch up and meet up and it will be a blessing in your life. We finished collection of the cups. So we are going somebody asked me why don't you collect offerings? I said I collect

09:48 greater than offerings. I collect people to Jesus you know. So yeah that's that's something we do but yes but yes every Sunday there is opportunity to give though I don't talk about it every Sunday there is opportunity to give and in the Bible giving is a commandment it's an act of worship you should give to God your tithes tithes means 10% offerings means above the 10%. Okay. In the local church you must give. Only thing here during COVID time when we had uh not we the whole world had pandemic. The lot of things that we used to do we changed. We used to pass bags etc. But when COVID came you know each person touching the bag became a problem you know. So we decided to just keep uh uh holy sanctified prayed over boxes outside. So those who want to give can give there and also give electronically and we after the lockdown was gone we found that was anyway a good idea as people leave after worship or when they

10:51 come in they can always give to God and you know you don't have to pass a bag specifically because those who don't want to remember to give to God we don't want to shake them and remind them that I'll do while preaching but uh uh our God is not mafia saying give right now no our God has enough and More giving is only a channel where you receive the blessing you know. So similarly holy communion earlier we used to pass it in trays you know uh but during the uh lockdown season we realized that we can't do that. So uh because of hygiene related issues of or social distancing issues of that time we had to keep it in a place and and let people know that only qualified people should take and we found that people were cooperating and were very respectful and then we thought why not continue that and so that's why we continue it and it's worked out beautiful. Um shall I start preaching? Okay. This month we're going to study on

11:53 the word influence from God's word. Influence. Influence is different from authority. Authority commands people to do things. Influence doesn't command. It's a silent appeal. That's why friendships are very important because friendships will influence you though they don't command you. A police will command you go fast, go slow, stop, wait, etc. But friends in the car will influence you to jump the signal to go faster than required. They won't command but influence. And many times influence is greater danger than authority. Look at the kingdom of Great Britain. 20 years ago, Queen Elizabeth had the authority. She was sitting on the throne, but people didn't care. They were all following Princess Diana. her hairstyle, her dressing, her shoes. That's what became popular because influence is greater than authority. It was someone uh a

12:56 philosopher who once said, "I don't care who writes the laws of the country. I'm more concerned about who writes the songs of the country because people are influenced not exactly by the rules but by the trends." And God is telling you and me, don't forget the influence you have. Influence is not what is always taught. It is what always people get to catch. Influence is not exactly taught but caught. And what are we catching in the world and what are we allowing others to catch? It all boils down fundamentally to how things flow out of us. Now many of us might make that casual excuse. God I don't have anything to give out. God there's nothing in me that can influence others. Well you are not exactly right. You're slightly wrong because God does say he has given you everything. Second Peter chapter 1, let's read verse number three and a portion of it says he has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and anything that

14:00 is required for your successful living and for godliness on the earth. It is already deposited in you. God has already put it in you. The scripture cannot be wrong. God has already put. We may not have identified it. I remember one man sharing a sad story about 40 years ago back in the days where telecommunication did not exist and people had to write long letters. The son wrote to the father from a foreign country and said, "Dad and mom, please come to where I live and these are the tickets for your ship. Okay? you come on the ship and uh you're going to have a good time with me in my country. So the parents got the ticket. They were so happy. There was no time to reply because before the reply could reach the son they would reach you know. So they wrote a letter saying we will reach you as you have given us the tickets and they boarded the ship. But the parents were illiterate and didn't

15:04 know how things work. They got into the ship. They were given their room. They stayed there. They had come with you. They had come into the uh ship with you know a chapati without oil and and things that would last one week's journey. They they had come with all those things prepared food in the ship. After 3 4 days, somebody in the ship asked them, "You're traveling on the ship and we see you on the deck watching the sea, but we don't see you in the buffet in the morning. We don't see you for lunch. We don't see you for dinner." Parents were very embarrassed and they told uh the co-passengers who asked them, they said, "Actually, our son sent us the ticket for travel, but he didn't send us the coupons. He didn't send us anything additional for the food, and we don't have the money. we don't want to invest. And then the Paco passenger said, "We want to see the ticket." And then of course they showed them the ticket. Said, "Your ticket includes all the meals. Your ticket is a

16:08 allincclusive ticket. Three meals a day is included in your ticket." We didn't know. Okay. From tomorrow start many Christians are journeying like that. Jesus will give us eternal life after we die until we die. Sukarot somehow manage you know in Jesus name today change your mind. He has given you everything required for godliness. Your spiritual initi abundant life. You require to live a abundant life for God has given you everything required for an abundant life. Hallelujah. >> Why do people want money for convenience? Why do they want comforts for happiness? God says I am giving happiness to you in advance. Make money happily. Don't have to wait for money to come to be happy. I'm giving you joy in the spirit. I'm giving you everything so

17:12 that you will have abundant life. Everything that we require, God wants us to have it. He wants us to have, but but you can't give out what you don't have. You can pretend and act, but you can't reproduce. You can act like somebody else, but you can't reproduce somebody else. You can change the color of your skin. You can do cosmetics and you can look like as if you were born in another country to different parents. But when you have a baby, it won't look Chinese. It won't look European. It will look local, a glorified local. Why? Because you cannot reproduce what you are not. Ultimately, what flows out of you is who you really are. >> That's why dating is fun. I haven't tried but I've heard so going out with your with your fiance is

18:17 fun but after marriage is very different because coffee shop meetings are so beautiful. You have the time to go to the parlor and come all perfect but after marriage you wake up just as the real you are. There's no time to go and make up and come. This is exactly why God is saying work on who you are. Work on who you are because the good you is already deposited. >> You just have to draw that life from God and live it out. And in one word, we call it character. This month, we're going to study about building a successful influence. In other words, it's about leadership. God wants you to reproduce who you are. You see a in back in the days when I was I I was growing in the ministry and and we still are but but back in those days I heard something that stuck with me. They kept saying you're a young boy. Your charisma will attract people to you but only your character will keep people with you.

19:22 your title as a successful journalist or a successful medical professional or a successful engineer as a successful sportsman. You know your title will draw people to you. Your charisma, your exuberance, your talent, it will attract people to you. But only your character will decide whether they will stay with you or leave you. Character is very important. That's why you can attract a lot of friends, but nobody may want to stay married. Because character is where people choose whether they want the long haul or they don't want it. Character, who you really are. And and and the Bible divides this into three. One, the character that is formed within us. Second, the character that endures towards God. And third, in our relationship with God, it must flow out into other people. Look at second Peter chapter 1. How beautifully Apostle

20:25 Peter by the Holy Spirit arranges these three dimensions. Reading from verse 5. Yeah. For this very shall we all read it together. Yeah. For this very cause, adding on your part all diligence in your faith supply virtue. And in your virtue, >> knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control. And in your >> self, >> patience, and in your patience, >> godliness, >> and in your godliness, >> brotherly kindness, >> and in your brotherly kindness, >> love. God is saying in verse number eight, "For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful until the knowledge God is saying this will make sure on the earth you don't waste your time and you are not unfruitful. You will be fruitful and you will make an impact and influence with the time God has given in

21:28 your life. You want to learn time management, read first Peter again and again the portion we read and apply it to life for God is saying this is how you become effective. BUT IT STARTS with let's read verse number five one more time. And for this very cause, adding on your part all diligence, it starts on the foundation of faith. Somebody wants to build the house. Do you build the ground floor first or you build the first because it's first floor. So first we'll build first floor or do you build foundation first? Everybody builds the foundation first if they have any sense of wisdom. Why? because nothing above can stand beyond what the foundation can hold. And so the Bible is saying your foundation is your faith. It's the most invisible part, but it's the most productive part. It's the most invisible part, but it's the most powerful part. If you build it

22:32 on faith, my brother, nothing can destroy what God is building in your life. You have already obtained faith from God. That's why you are a believer. You already have it in you. Now, many people think faith means, "Oh, I believe in Jesus. Oh, I know the Lord is there. I know God is there." That is faith. That's not faith. Awareness of God is not faith. I mean, it is faith, but it is not the faith the Bible is talking about. Because even Satan has that awareness of God. Okay, I believe in God. I'm a believer. No, no, no. Even Satan is a believer. James chapter 2:1 19. Satan believes in God. What does that mean? It means Satan knows God is there. And many of us when we see God, maximum we do is we draw a cross or we say amen. Satan shivers before God. That much respect he has for God. The Bible says that in James chapter 2:1 19. Then then why is it he has no faith? Faith is not the awareness of God. Faith

23:35 is the dependence on God. Is the obedience to God is the expectation of God. Is the commitment to God. That's called faith. >> Many of us think I believed in God then why God is not blessing. Bos even Satan believes in God to the same standards of your faith. God doesn't bless Satan because blessings do not come on the awareness of God or the acknowledgment of God. Blessings come in the commitment to God, in the obedience to God, in the expectation of God, in the surrender to God, in knowing who he is, in that personal relationship. That's the faith on which other things must be built. >> Hallelujah. >> Are you all enjoying God's word today? Faith is that settled persuasion of the heart WHICH COMMITS OUR WHOLE person to Christ Jesus in our obedience to him in our surrender of him in our

24:38 expectations from him and all of this in one word is called worship >> worship worship and Apostle Peter is saying by the Holy Spirit guys to this faith don't think this faith is enough hallelujah I have faith God says add some stuff you want abundant life add some stuff if you are just planning to eat sukarot roti and go on you know in this life I don't belong here one day I will die see that is such a poor witness of Christian faith you and I are called to live a successful life so that people will look at your life and say I want your god to be my god >> I want your faith to be my faith and you can have it by the grace of God. You can have it by the grace of God. So, Apostle Peter is saying three things that should be formed within the first three. Give diligence. The word diligence means not little bit but fully. Give yourself fully.

25:41 If you really look at the successful people, whether it's in sports or in studies or whatever, they are people who give themselves fully. If you look at average people, there are people who give themselves somewhat. And if you look at failures, there are people who never give themselves at all. It is the attitude more than the talent that decides how successful you will be. It's that sense of passion, that sense of commitment, that sense of strong desire. And God is saying, give diligence to these things. Number one, to virtue. What is virtue? Virtue at the root word basically means excellence. Excellence. Give excellence to your faith. Excellence is the quality that lets you do the thing which you were made to do. It is the commitment to do what God called you to do. Amen. When it's applied to people, it means moral excellence and a courageous backbone where you do what is right because it is

26:45 right. Living an excellent life means making sure you do your very best every time in all that you are responsible over. GOD IS SAYING ADD TO YOUR FAITH. EXCELLENCE. This month I believe in Jesus name we are going to grow in influence. How you're going to add excellence to your faith. >> Amen. Add excellence to your faith. The second word there is add knowledge to your virtue. Add knowledge to your excellence. That's also an inward thing. If you're standing in the uh airport, you can't make out what a person knows inside their mind. You don't know whether he's a scientist. You don't know whether he's a building project manager. You don't know whether he's a software engineer. You don't know if he's a senior surgeon, you know, that's going to do somebody's brain surgery. You have no idea. Why? Because knowledge is inward. Attitudes are inward. No one sees it. People can see only the results of what is inside. And God is saying build

27:48 excellence on the inside. BUILD THAT STRONG KNOWLEDGE on the inside. Learn on the inside. And this word knowledge here. The root words. There are two words used in the Bible. Epignosis and nosis. Nosis means learning through experience. Epignosis means towards the knowledge of Christ. And the word used here is walk with the Lord every day and you keep learning every day. Making a mistake is okay. We are human. We make mistakes. But repeating the mistake is not okay. Make a new mistake but not the old one. Learn through the old one. >> Change the old one. >> Amen. All who can't say amen, change it. Learn through the old practical discernment is what the Bible is talking about. The applied wisdom to make right situations and right decisions even in wrong situations. We grow into the

28:52 fuller knowledge of Christ through daily knowledge of increased experiences and making choices that are godwardly that are towards God and inward increase of the knowledge even through the scripture. Number three is the word self-control. Let's say that together. God is saying to your faith add virtue and to the virtue add knowledge and to the knowledge add >> self-control not God control many people want GOD TO CONTROL GOD YOU control I don't want to drink I don't want to drink you control if you don't control I'll drink God is not creating puppets that's why he gave you and me free will and self-control does not want robots to worship him. That's why if you put on music CD, anointing won't come. It comes on your worship. >> God wants you to worship.

29:56 Having a music CD, having a worship on YouTube while you want to pray or you that's all fantastic. Of course, please play Christian music than playing secular dirty music. It's always a good thing. But don't think you can replace your worship by playing somebody else worshiping God. You know how effective it is when instead of you worshiping you make somebody else worship and you think it will benefit you. You know how powerful it is? It is as powerful as you are hungry and watching others eat and hoping the vitamins will come into you. You see the wisdom there? It's the same IQ level. You come into a church, others are worshiping and you think it's going to benefit you. Well, of course, the atmosphere of worship is beneficial, but there's nothing that can replace you singing out to your God, you connecting with your God.

31:01 Self control, not auto control, not God control, self-control. Self-control. This is one thing we all feel bad sometimes. God, you just control my life, Lord. God said, mm- I have put within you my grace, but you use it and control yourself because I cannot reward what I control. I can only reward what you control. >> Hallelujah. We all want God to control. God, stop my smoking Lord. right now in Jesus name. God says yes I give you the grace but you also decide not to go via that place where cigarette will attract you and not to spend time with people which will make you feel like smoking again. You also make some changes. No, that I can't Lord. And God says no, I'll not control you. Our God does not possess people. You can never remove Jesus out of somebody through any kind of exorcism. I hope you are following what I'm

32:04 saying. He will never make you unconscious. That's why the Bible says the spirit of the prophet is subject to the spirit. 1 Corinthians that under the anointing whatever you do you are responsible baby no the anointing came so what behave yourself Bible says self I know many of us we do things I felt like in the name of G brother in the name of Jesus feelings are still your personal property you are responsible for the damages caused by it damages to yourself or to others self-control. No, I was praying. That's when he disturbed me. That's why I gave him a tight slap. One lady told one lady told it is not acceptable. Self-control. Self-control. Self-control. It's the strength within. It's the mastery over

33:07 passions, appetites, impulses. Knowledge helps you see what is right. But inner strength, self-control helps you rule the appetites which are waiting to override the knowledge before your character can be seen by anybody else. It is formed inside you quietly by grace through diligence. Your secret faithfulness goes ahead of your public fruitfulness. Daniel chapter 1:8 is a beautiful line there. The Bible says, "And Daniel set in his heart." Daniel decided in his heart. Why doesn't the Bible say Daniel decided in his mind? Because many logical decisions will not survive. It's only when you make it emotional choice, it will survive. You must be passionate about that decision. Put your emotions in it. Daniel emotionally decide. Who is Daniel? This is a teenager stripped off the country. He was robbed of his temple where he worshiped God. He was brought

34:10 out of a family line which had a legacy and he was put into a place to be sold as a slave. This boy who could have been the number one case for psychiatric victim. He could have definitely been an anxiety disorder patient. I mean his parents were killed in front of him. He was dragged into another country, sold as a slave. This his name was changed. He has to eat different, dress different, everything is different. He should have become an OCD. He should have become a schizophrenia patient. He should have become a mental chaos. But the guy becomes the most powerful administrator of the empire of Babylon, the empire of Meo Persian. Three empires, he remained the only guy who was a constant. Why? because every day he kept thanking God. You can't control what happens to you, but you surely can control how you react.

35:14 >> He began to say, "God, I don't like this, but I thank you that I'm not alone. You are with me. You are with me. I thank you that you are in control. I thank you that these idols, these uh gods have no power on my life. These Babylonian gods are not in control over my life. You are in control over my life. Whatever they do to me, whatever these people and their corruption does to me, I believe you are the one in control. You will take care of my future. You will lead me. I thank you, Father. You know, saying thanks is not enough. That's why it's called thanksgiving. It's not The Bible doesn't say let's do thanks saying. The Bible says let's do thanksgiving. What's the difference between thanksgiving and thanksgiving? Thanks. Saying you anybody can do anywhere. Going to a flight. Thank you for coming sir. Go out of a government office. Thank you for leaving. Everywhere they say thanks.

36:18 Thanksgiving is different from thanks saying. Thanks saying you can say even if you don't like it, even if you don't feel it, you can still say thanks. Thanks. Automated thank yous are there. Thank you machines are there. Railway stations they announce thank you for traveling with us. Who is thanking automated mission. Many people come to church and become automated mission. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. They're scrolling the phone. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you. God is saying in the book of Isaiah their lips are praising me but their hearts are far away. Thanksgiving means you should form thanks in your heart and make it a good emotion to give it to God. >> Don't just say thanks and walk away. Wait till you feel thanks. Wait till you can consolidate thanks in your heart and then give it to God. That's called

37:20 thanksgiving. >> Hallelujah. Many people say, "I've been thanking God but no result." Boss, you've been doing mantra. And the Bible says in Matthew chapter 6, God hates mantras. God does not like chantings. He likes conversations. Go to your wife every day and say, "I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love I said it seven times. Bye." If she is alive, you won't be. We human beings hate mantra. Chantings without heart. We hate it. What do you think about God? Okay. Chanting hallelujah are definitely better than bad words. So use chantings. No problem. But put your heart into it so that it'll reach God. >> Go ahead. Give God a big hand. Man, I'm

38:22 preaching good today. So what happened? Daniel, he was thankful to God in everything. So what happened? And the Bible says they found him to be 10 times more excellent in everything. You see, your separation for God should not make you look like a loser. You should be consecrated to God. You should be holy unto God, but you should be a success. And they should say, "Man, this guy's got a different set of rules, but he's also a victorious fellow." have that relationship with God. The next three are matters which are towards God. The Bible is saying Peter says add to your self-control. The word is temperance. The word is uh patience. Sorry, the word is patience. There the word is uh steadfastness. I've translated it in my notes as steadfastness. You know, two things there. Steadfastness towards God. Be steadfast. Be steadfast. Be stead. What is steadfastness? To remain under. To

39:28 remain under. Don't change. You know why diamonds are so expensive? Because no matter how much you put pressure on it, it will remain the same. Why gold is expensive? No matter what it goes through, it will not change its character. So it's expensive. Be valuable like that. Some of us are good in good weather. In bad weather, oh, nobody can come a mile near us. In fact, Satan takes chuty. Satan says, "He's doing my job. Why should I be there?" Huh? Being who God called you to be as a all weather person is what makes you valuable. Steadfastness is to be a soldier whether in the snow or in the heat of the desert or in the waters or in the sky. Maintaining that focus and remaining who you are called to be as a soldier is called steadfastness.

40:32 >> Hallelujah. My friend may have got hurt. He may be being picked up by the ambulance. But I'll continue to GUARD MY POSITION. THAT'S A SOLDIER. Even if I'm alone, I'll do my duty. God is saying build steadfastness on the foundation of faith. >> You want to be successful, you want to be victorious, you want to develop character, God is saying put this ingredient into it. One of the big disasters social media has done to people is they think your shape is what decides everything. Trust me, it is only screenw worthy. Character is what decides where you go in life. >> Amen. Pastor, I don't have a good image. Put somebody's image and live a good character, steadfastness. Hallelujah. I'm preaching deep Pentecostal truths. Peter is the biggest Pentecostal. He started the day of Pentecost. Pentecost is not white and white. That's

41:39 is a good color. It's a good color for some people. Steadfastness is the energy in you that not only wins a quarrel but wins the longl lasting war. That's towards God. Steadfastness towards God. Faithfulness towards God. The second thing in your faithfulness towards God is the word godliness. Say that together with me. godliness. It's reverent devotion to God expressed daily in life. Many people think coming to church on a Sunday at least once a month is godliness. It's a starting point. Brother, if somebody goes to Olympic and stands in the ready, set go and the gun is fired and they remain there and they say I am in the race. What do you do with such people? Many people are still standing on faith.

42:47 God says add virtue, add excellence, add that I am on faith. GOD SAYS BUDDY, I WANT YOU TO BE A WINNER IN LIFE. NO LORD, YOU PICK ME FROM here and put me there. God says add these things. When you add these things and if there is a requirement for me to pick you from here and put you there, I'll do it when required. But you add, go ahead, give God a big hand of praise. Add godliness. Young people, college guys, listen carefully. I'm preaching to us. Add godliness. I am from the University of the Holy Bible. Reverence that shows that's called godliness. Reverence towards God must become visible in your lifestyle. That's called godliness. Because we should resemble whom we respect. 40 years ago, 50 years ago in politics,

43:50 even in South India, even in Chiapunji where it rains every day, even in UTI where it's so cold, people would wear a cap. Even in Rajasthan in the heat in the heat terrible heat 49° 50° people are having sunstroke they wear a cap and they tilt it towards the side. Why don't you fix it in the center? No, tilt towards the side. Why? Nehuji wore like that. The influence is a fact. 15 years ago I went to what is that place I forget you get cheap codes good good code but inexpensive I forget that street name anyway Bangalore there's one street where you get many streets but one where it's cheap so then I told them can you give me one quote without uh sleeves

44:53 sleeveless coat They asked me up uh concert then I said boss coat without sleeves don't want sleeves. Oh, I said boss I don't know Neu. God bless him. I I his memory I I don't I I I don't know what he wore. I am asking I have seen quotes without sleeves. Do you have this is it's called narrow coat influence? Somebody once wore it like that. So those who liked him started wearing like that because people who like somebody start unknowingly becoming like them. 30 years ago when MGR movies were famous

45:56 in Tamil Nadu, people couldn't smoke properly. They had a style because because Anna did it like that. When you know the long back long back in my school days, there used to be one advertisement. It was about liquid blue, Robin Blue, and it was about washing powder NMA. And and and the bo and the girls would be washing powder nma. And the boys would be like nothing makes purer fellows change their tone. Fellows who would scream in the football play gameser passer. Now like either either change why influence somebody who they

47:00 like they want to become like that fellow. Princess Diana had a bad haircut one day and she came out and people because they loved her they all cut like that. It became popular. She herself said that actually the hairstylist cut more than what she wanted and she was unhappy about it and Diana cut became so famous. Men's barber shop it was written Diana cut men's barber shop knows no lady will come but still it is written why influence this is why you should be careful who is influencing you without your knowledge you're becoming like them without your awareness that's why the Bible says meditate on the word so you become more like him. Godliness.

48:04 Godliness. Godliness. You become like what you respect. Godliness is about standing against the currents of the age, saying, "I belong to God." Godliness is about living a life knowing that you're called for something greater. Godliness finally is a mystery in Christ. 1 Timothy chapter 3 the Bible says the fact that God lives in us is godliness and Apostle Peter goes on to say guys two more things add to your godliness brother brotherly kindness you see suddenly what was developing within you was reaching out to God but it's incomplete unless it reaches people >> that's the third dimension Brotherly kindness, affection towards others that flows from the love for God. What is love? Love is self-giving, deliberate attitude that seeks the good of others. It begins with your family of

49:10 faith and extends outward even to the outsider, even to those who are indifferent to you and even with your enemy. You're called even to love your enemy. Bible is the only book that says love your enemies. But love with wisdom because you should not love your family like you love your enemy. My dad beat me up. I deserved it. I was 8 years 9 years of age. Dad beat me and I'm in a bad mood. And you know these Pentecostal uncles and aunties that day there was a prayer meeting in my house. They saw I'm in a bad mood. They said, you know, they like to taunt it. I tell you, man, sometimes I'm telling you, the devil does. You know why there is no devil in Pentecostal church? Because there are uncles and aunties doing the job. At least back in my days, these uncles

50:12 are like, "Why don't you smile? You're a young boy. Why are you upset? You You can see I'm upset. Leave me alone. In their Bible, there is an additional gift called the gift of taunting. And they are doing PhD on that. Finally, it was my mother from the kitchen. She shouted, "Dad gave him a rap, so he's upset. He was naughty. He got a beating from dad, so he's upset." Now these uncles should keep quiet. One of them is asking me who do you love the most. Daddy or mommy? That uncle's children come to our church sometimes. Children and grandchildren. That uncle has gone to be with the Lord. I love them. No problem. These are all old experiences.

51:19 I told that uncle, "I love my dad. My dad got a shock." My mom came out of the kitchen. What's going on? This uncle should stop. He doesn't. He says, "Why?" I said, "Because Bible says love your enemies." You You can't beat a Pentecostal boy and get away like that. We've got the Bible. So, you don't love your family like how you love your enemies. Some people don't know whom to love more, whom to love less, how to love. You you love everybody, but your family you trust. But the others you need to be careful. Maintain some distance boundaries. Protect yourself when you love people. You can you can be careless when you love your inner circle. But you cannot be careless when you love others. Love without wisdom is foolish.

52:22 Love must be generous, but it must not be foolish. And do not allow love to become transactional or proud or filled with resentment because these things can replace love in the long long term. Now many people think now that I have I'll develop a good character my character will save me. Trust me character won't save you. Only God will save you. Many people have developed good character and believe that because my good character karma will save me. It won't brother. It won't. Life teaches you character won't save you. Character is because you honor God and it's the right thing to do. But character without divine power is dangerous. Character is not always rewarded because the world we live in is an unfair world. The world we live in has no integrity. And therefore even a good kindness and even a good smile is misunderstood as a weakness or as something wrong. That's why I want to close with this. John 15:4. Let's read. Abide in me.

53:26 >> I in you. >> Uh-huh. >> My brothers and sisters, this month we're going to study more about influence. But God is saying as you build your influence, abide in me. Spend time in prayer. Don't think your good works will save you. At the end of it, unless I am there, your goodness may not be always rewarded. But if you learn to talk to the Lord, learn to abide in Christ through prayer, through worship, your character is going to be rewarded by the hand of God Almighty, he will be there to make systems work in your favor. Go ahead, give him a mighty hand clap. Give him a mighty hand clap. Hallelujah. Many people who were living a righteous life and did not see results and you have given up today, wake up and get back to your righteousness. Add what you need to add. These are not things you do once up once in a lifetime and forget. These are like a staircase which is spiral. Every time you keep adding and

54:28 through prayer to God Almighty. Even if the world forgets to reward you, there is a God who will turn things around in your favor and God will make sure all things work together for good to them. Go ahead, give God a big hand. Hallelujah. Come on everybody. God factor. God factor that blesses the influence. Close your eyes and say, "Father, today I heard your word and I really rededicate my life to your word. Help me, Lord, in areas where I have given up and I thought it's okay to be wicked. I'm sorry. I want to build on my faith and I want to make sure that this life on the earth will be an abundant life." Hallelujah. I thank you for your holy hand on my life. I thank you that whatever I need for life and godliness, you have put into me. And help me that through my prayer life, I will make it fruitful. Through seeking you, through worship, through calling on your name, I

55:34 will build my life for your glory. That I'll be a positive influence. I'll be a good influence by building my character. A character that honors you. A character that is built within. A character that honors you. And a character that touches others. A character that has all the three dimensions. Father God, I thank you for your able. You're able to help me in areas of weakness. that I'll have steadfastness, that I'll have ste self self-control, that I'll build my life in excellence, that I'll do things in the fashion that you've called me to do. I thank you, Jesus. I love you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. How many of you today you strongly feel in your heart along with building my character I'm also going to build my prayer life every day wherever

56:37 you are seated or standing raise your hand I want to pray with you heavenly father I pray for all these commitments that are rising up the desires of the heart that Sunday after Sunday as we study your word we will not only build our life but we will build our prayer life that we will learn to seek seek you more. Thank you for speaking to us today. Bless your people in Jesus' name we ask. Amen. Shall we stand? We'll sing a song. What a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry.

57:51 everything to God in prayer. Oh, what peace we often for. Oh, what needless pain we bear. All because we do not care. Everything to God in prayer. Have we trials and temptation is their trouble anywhere? We should never be despised. Stay it to the Lord in prayer. Can

58:57 we find a friend so faithful who will hold our sorrow share? Jesus knows our every way. Just take it to the Lord in prayer. Are we weak and heavy laden? But with the Lord of Preious Savior, Lord Jesus, take it to the Lord in prayer. Do thy friends despise, forsake thee. Oh, take it to the Lord in prayer.

1:00:07 In his arms you'll take and shield. Thou will find a soulless day. Blessed Savior, thou has. Yes, Lord Jesus. Your proess. >> My Jesus, may we ever Lord be brave. All to the spread. Soon in glory, bright and cloud. Come on church, lift your hands everybody. And there will be no need for prayer. Rapture praising endless worship will be our sweet motion.

1:01:16 >> Shall we take a few minutes to clap our hands? Everybody open our mouth. Come on. As the Holy Spirit anoints you, praise him. Praise him in the utterance of new tongues. Praise him in the prophetic worship. Praise him. Let there be miracles in Jesus mighty name. A revival in Jesus mighty name. In the mighty name of Jesus, the renewing anointing of the Holy Spirit, the divine grace of GOD ALMIGHTY. RIGHT NOW BY the power of God. Come on everybody, open your mouth. Shout out your hallelujah. Give your thanks to God. Give your thanks to God. Give your thanks to Jesus. Give your thanks to him. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Every power of

1:02:20 bondage, every power of curse, every power of witchcraft, every power of demonic, WE REBUKE IN THE NAME of Jesus by the covenant blood of Jesus. Every powers of the enemy, we strip you from every believer's life. Let there be deliverance. Let there be anointing. Let there be a breakthrough right now in Jesus mighty name. Let there be a release of the anointing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Heavenly Father, we just want to say thank you, Lord, for your word that came alive into our hearts, into our lives. And we just want to say thank you, Father God.
