00 Let's do the confessions together. I believe in the almighty God, our father and creator. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, God and my savior. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He suffered, died, and rose again. He ascended into heaven. He shall soon come again. I believe in God the Holy Spirit, who is worshipped and my guide. I believe in holy fellowship, faithful giving, and service to God in this church. I believe the Holy Bible is the perfect word of God. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have, and I can do what it says I can do. Today, as I learn the word of God here in my spiritual family, I am blessed, healed, and anointed for a holy and a victorious living. I will never again be the same in Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. Please be seated. We're going to study on

10 a beautiful topic, a beautiful subject, one of my favorites, the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm sure all of you have got your booklet. If you haven't got one, please wave at the ushers. They'll come to you with the booklet for all of you who's joining us online. I believe you're going to be blessed as we study the word of God together. The link would be there in the description for your notes. The doctrine of Jesus Christ is all about the person and the work of our Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, it is termed as Christology. So, today we're going to, you know, in the small little time that we have, you know, studying about Jesus Christ, like one great preacher said, you know, it is more or less asking somebody to, you know, explain God and give two examples. You know, I mean, the subject that we

16 have in our hands today is a vast subject that has been discussed, talked about, looked into, critiqued into, you know, philosophers have thought through, thinkers, you know, have have put their minds into it, you know, and and Jesus Christ has influenced the entire globe. You know, that is the beauty of Jesus Christ. You remove Jesus out of the context of the world, you know, you're talking about something else. So, this morning, we're going to study about In fact, I asked AI, you know, what if Jesus was not there? What if Jesus did not come into Some of you are interested in AI, so I thought I'll keep you interested. You know, you know what the answer it gave? You know, in fact, I asked, which historical figure, you know, was the most influential, was was the most spoken about, the most debated about, the most worshipped, and,

20 you know, the most critically examined, and still remains influential? And you know, the obvious answer is Jesus Christ. All through history, there is nobody that can take the place of Jesus Christ. And this is not a preacher, this is not a Pentecostal, this is AI giving you the answer. And I asked, what if you remove Jesus out of history? It says, history, culture, morality, education, art, and civilization would be profoundly different if Jesus did not come to this world. So, you and I cannot remove Jesus. You know, people that say, "Oh, who is Jesus? He's just another man." But, somebody you know, one old man, I wouldn't want to like to take his name. He said, "Jesus was a very weak man. He died at the age of 33." Just that the old man did not know that Jesus, when he died on the cross at the age of 33, 34, he said, "It is finished." Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. So, Jesus is something beautiful. Sorry, Pastor Danny, I'm

22 going out of your syllabus and please forgive me. You know, I don't know how you put this all together into, you know, 15, 20 pages. I mean, the more you study about Jesus, the more beautiful he is. Amen. So, we're going to quickly learn on the person and the identity, uh the person and the work, the person is identity and the work is mission of Jesus Christ. In fact, you know, Pastor Johnson has been speaking about Jesus for the last 29, 30 years and, you know, every Sunday we still want to come and listen him speak. You know, and now he's increasing two more services so that he could speak more. You know, that's the beauty of Jesus Christ. You know, uh we're all getting up for that, you know. So, Christianity is completely centered on Jesus Christ. You know, in fact, like if I should if I could alter that, the whole world is centered on Jesus Christ. Without Jesus, there is no life. Amen. Because he's the source of our

24 salvation, he is the center of our worship, and he is the strength that he that that comes every living day. So, the purpose of studying this doctrine is to know Jesus deeply, have a everyday encounter with him, and have a everyday relationship with him. Know him personally, you know, have an encounter with him and grow in his relationship. In fact, the Apostle Paul, you know, on your first page it says Philippians 3:8, you know, yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Jesus Christ, my Lord. There are many things that want to that are fighting for the place, that are fighting for that position of Jesus Christ in our lives. But Apostle Paul can we tell along with him, yes, I compare everything as rubbish because I know I want to know Jesus more than anything. Hallelujah. So, know you knowing Christ is a beautiful journey as

29 we, you know, look into the next page of Jesus Christ being the center of everything. For 2,000 years, Jesus Christ has remained the center of both the church and the history. You know, in fact, um I mean, uh you know, the the the ethical values of the world, the moral values of the world. He has shaped them. He has influenced people to shape them. Civilizations have inspired people. Civilizations have turned to Jesus because they found that he is something beautiful. Some approach him with, you know, with a heart of worship, some approach him critically, but whatever it is, there is no one that stands out as the most significant and influential person like Jesus Christ. In fact, the world has its calendar based on the birth of Jesus Christ, AD and BC. So,

34 Jesus Christ not only stands in the center of history, he's also the center of the scripture. You know, in fact, he he he scolded, you know, rebuked the Pharisees and the religious leaders, you know, when he told them, "You people, you know, you know the scriptures in and out, but you do not know or you do not recognize me that I am the one that the whole of the scripture is talking about. I am here flesh and blood, but you're unable to recognize what you know by heart." You know, in fact, uh you know, that portion in John 5:39 to 40, it says, "All of the scripture bears witness about me." The whole centrality of the scripture from Genesis to Revelation, you know, we see that is all about God's redemptive work, all about Jesus Christ. In fact, when you, you know, if you if you and I would split the Old Testament into three parts, you know, the first few portions is about the priestly ordinance of Jesus Christ,

37 and then it comes about the kings the the kingly ordinance of Jesus Christ, and then the prophetic of Jesus Christ. You know, priest, king, and the prophetic, we will study about that sometime later. All right, so all of the Bible and and then the New Testament is all about him. So, from Genesis to Revelation, everything is about Jesus Christ of God's eternal purpose is fulfilled through Christ. You know, it's not just a doctrine that we're going to study, we are going to study that he is the center of God's revelation, redemption, and eternal plan. He is not only wanting to be the center of history or the scripture, he wants to be the center of yours and my life. Are you ready to invite him into your life? Amen. And so, we jump on to the next page talking about the name of Jesus Christ. You know, the you know, in in Bible times, a name had something as a significance. So, we'll see what is the name of Jesus

42 and what are his significance. You know, so the name of Jesus reveals his purpose, his position, and his promise. So, the name Jesus is his purpose. What does it say? You know, [snorts] you will receive you will conceive and give birth to a son and you will call his name Jesus. So, Jesus means salvation of God, which is saying Yahweh. You know, that Yeshua, Jesus, he saves. He is the God of salvation. His very mission Jesus came to this earth was to save you and me, to save humanity from sin, to you know, bridge the separation between God and us. And that's why, you know, uh uh Paul writes in Acts for there is no other name given under heaven for salvation of mankind except the name of Jesus Christ. So, you know, so Jesus, his purpose and his name means salvation. Number two, Christ. What's

45 the name of Christ? Christ is not the surname of Jesus Christ. Christ, his promise, it is his title, which means in Greek the anointed one. Hallelujah. Amen. Christ is the anointed one. Isaiah 61, he, you know, talks about how and what his anointing does, you know, to liberate the captives, you know, to speak the good news. That is Christ. One of my favorite scriptures, Acts 10:38, you know, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth who went around doing good and who performed miracles and casting out demons. That's what the anointing of Jesus Christ is. Amen. He is Christ the anointed in your life. No powers of the enemy can stand against you. No No can stand forever in your life. It will all bow down before the name of Jesus because he's the anointed one. Amen. And Lord, his position. You know, when the angels came and declared to the shepherds, "You will have, you know, this this the son is

49 born unto you, a savior is born unto you who is Christ the Lord." Amen. Amen. Even at his birth, he was declared as the Lord. The angels did not say, "You know, you will have a teacher. You will have a prophet." They said, "You will have the Lord." In fact, Paul the apostle goes on from in Philippians chapter 2 verse 9 to 11, he says that the name of Jesus is above every other name. Hallelujah. You know, what a beautiful name it is that at the name of Jesus every sickness will bow. At the name of Jesus every demons will be will will be will run away at his name. You know, the flowers bloom like the song writer said. At his name the deserts will spring waters. Oh, what a beautiful name his name is. Amen. Amen. So, we are called to live in his name. You know, when we live in his name, there is something so beautiful that happens. You have an identity.

54 You have an identity. The woman at the well, you know, when she knew that it was Jesus who was talking to her, it was the son of God that came down to save her, her identity changed. Her expressions changed. You know, all through the life of Jesus, anyone he touched, his their identity changed. It was no more the weak Peter, but then it was a strong bold of Peter. Hallelujah. Amen. He changed people's lives. Their identity changed. Their purpose, you know, there is purpose when you call on his name. So, we are called to live in his name. He we are anointed in his name. We are forgiven in his name. We are baptized in his name. We are justified. You know, the list goes on there on your notes. I'll I'll I'll leave that for you to go home and read. You know, we live in his name. We preach in his name. We speak in his name. Everything we do, we do it in his name. And then we go on to page six. Jesus' life in a nutshell on earth and beyond. Six points there. The pre-incarnate

03 Jesus Christ. The more detail about it is given on the small table on page four. You can go home and read that. You know, that Jesus was you know, he his his arrival was not in Bethlehem. No, he was already existing. You know, he already existed before Bethlehem and he did not It was not finished, you know, at the cross. He lives forever and he is a second person in the Trinity. So, Jesus has always been We see in different parts of the Old Testament how he comes and appears and speaks to his people. So, that's about his incar- pre-incarnate Christ. Number two, his boyhood. You know, Jesus, although he was the God eternal, he chose to became flesh and blood, born through a virgin Mary. He grew as a human being obedient to his earthly parents. Although in the temple at the age of 12, he knew his purpose. Rather, he he you know, he

06 he he spoke about his purpose and his divine identity, he still went back with his parents and stayed with them for almost 30 years and grew under them being obedient, living an ordinary life. You know, Jesus' ministry. And after 30 years of obedient living with his parents, he came out into public, was baptized, he was tested and tempted in the wilderness, he preached the good news of the Lord of of the kingdom of heaven. You know, he he he healed people and and you know, hundreds and thousands and 10,000s of them that followed him all for 3 years. He spoke in Judea, Jerusalem, and Galilee proclaiming the kingdom of God and God's salvation. Number four, Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. You know, he was betrayed and he was condemned and he was crucified. He was buried. He died for the penalty of our sins.

10 Yet, death could not defeat him. On the third day, he rose victorious. Amen. The cross became the doorway of salvation and Jesus remains the foundation of uh rather his resurrection remains the foundation of our faith and hope. Amen. Resurrection of Jesus is the beautiful thing for humanity. His resurrection is the only one one one thing that that is standing as so prominent for all those who believe in him because there is hope and there is life in Jesus Christ. You know, in fact, in the 18th century, it seems there was this guy called Gilbert West, a English scholar and a poet, you know, that he was upset that all of his friends or many of his friends were turning to Christianity. They were going to church. So, he said, I need to disprove this resurrection. So, when you disprove resurrection, Christianity loses or or the gospel of Jesus loses its value. So, he started writing a book

16 and halfway through, he had an encounter. The more he studied about disproving Jesus' resurrection, he found that no, I can prove resurrection. He had an encounter and God touched him. He wrote a book called The Other Way Round. Wait, wait. That was in the 18th century. In the 19th century, there was another atheist called Ingersoll who called up his friend in America and told him, "Hey, uh you know, that was Lew Wallace, General Lew Wallace, you know, a war hero and you know, many big accolades that was on him." So, he called up war Lewis and and Lew Wallace and said, "We need to stop this Christianity spreading around. Let's damage Christianity. Let's disprove resurrection." So, Lew Wallace took it up and he said, "Okay, I'm going to write a book." You know, but his his wife was a Christian. She was praying. Thank God for praying wives. You know, you can pray and change anything down. Amen.

19 Husbands, don't be upset. Thank God for praying husbands, also. Now, you can say amen. All right. Okay, so she prayed and halfway through through his writing, you know, he found out that Jesus is God and he met Jesus and he wrote the famous book that came out as a movie, Ben-Hur. 20th century, an English lawyer and journalist, Frank Morison, he wanted to shatter Christianity. He was a you know, he he he he wanted to research and you know, somehow disprove resurrection so that people will turn to you know, turn away from the gospel. He researched and he did everything. Halfway through his research, he met Jesus Christ and he wrote another book, Who Moved the Stone? So, if you are in a hurry to meet Jesus Christ, try and write a book to disprove resurrection, you will meet Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Amen. So, resurrection stands as the beautiful crown of the

23 entire work of our Lord Jesus Christ, bringing us hope. And then he ascended into heaven, his ascension 40 days after his resurrection. Right now he is seated at the right hand of God. And then number six, we uh have the second coming that we are all looking forward for. Looks like he's going to come soon with all the confusion and chaos that is happening around us. All we have to say is maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus, come. Amen. Let's move on. Let's move on to page eight, the person of Christ. [clears throat] So, the person of Christ is so beautiful, you know, a a a a mystery, but something that is beautiful. You know, he is fully God and fully man. One person with two complete natures, 100% God and 100% human. Not a 50/50, not half half. You know, when he's God, you know, the man nature in him is sleeping. When he is man, the God

26 nature in him is No, no, no. He is man and God at the same time. Only God can do that. You know, so he's the eternal son of God that came to save us. So, how do we know that he is God? Number one, he said so himself. John chapter 10 verse 30, he said, "I and the Father are one." John 14:9, he says, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father." In fact, John 8:58, he said, "Before Abraham was born, I am." And that's why the, you know, religious leaders they got angry. They wanted they they wanted to kill him and they did it. They crucified him for claiming to be not a prophet because he said, "I am God." Number two, the prophecies confirms that he is God. More than 300 prophecies were spoken about Messiah. That is awesome. You know, it was written through, you know, through 500 through 1,000 years before he was born. Every single thing

31 that was written about his birth, his death, you know, his burial, his the the the way he would live and everything, his lineage, everything, everything, 300 of them were fulfilled. In fact, I like the math you put there, Pastor Danny. The probability of one man fulfilling just eight of these prophecies is one in 10 raised to 17. You know, if it was a man that was to fulfill this, you would you would never come close. And Jesus had 300 prophecies. And if for a man, you would take only eight prophecies, still the probability would be in English in Indian English 10 million crore, one in 10 million crore. There There are no many people as as as that much. That is the beauty of Jesus Christ. Prophecies confirms that he is God. He was worshipped as God. You know, when every angel was was when somebody would fall at the feet of an angel, they would say, "Hey, don't worship me." Or if some

33 other people, you know, were were worshipped, they would say, "Don't worship. You have to worship God." But Jesus, when people worshipped him, he did not reject their worship because the leper, when he was healed, the Bible says he worshipped him. The Syrophoenician woman who cried out to him, you know, the Bible one translation says she worshipped him. The blind man worshipped him. Thomas, when he saw the risen savior, he said, "My Lord and my God." And And worshipped. Stephen, when he was dying, he prayed to Jesus. The early church, they sang songs and hymns to Jesus as he was God. So, the more people saw him, they knew him, they knew that he was God. Number four, he did only what God can do. You know, so that proves that he is God. He did the impossible. You know, he forgave sins because one even when he was he was healing a man, you know, he also went ahead and forgive him, and the Pharisees asked, "Who is

36 Who does he think he is to say that, you know, he could forgive sins?" Because only God can forgive sins, and Jesus forgave everyone that came to him, almost everyone. He forgave sins, he raised the dead, the dead Lazarus, the widow's son, you know, Jairus' daughter, many of them that rose from the dead. He healed the blind, the deaf, the lame, the He healed every kinds of people that only God could do. Not only that, he had he had authority over creation. The creation obeyed him. Sicknesses would run at the mention of his name. Death surrendered to him. Hallelujah. The greatest fear of humankind, death, had to bow down before him, simply telling us that he is God almighty. Number five, rose from the grave. His resurrection is not a myth or a legend. You know, it stands on the top of this list because because it was it was not a

39 myth because it is not somebody had a dream and then he understood that Jesus was No, Paul, the apostle, says 500 people saw him ascending into heaven. You know, that's Paul also stands tall in history because uh you know, historians cannot ignore Paul because he studied under Gamaliel. So, any writing of Paul was counted as, you know, historic historical book. You know, there was Josephus and, you know, the other guy, Tacitus, you know, historians that lived during the time of of of Jesus. So, all these are historical evidences that Jesus rose from the dead. His resurrection validates everything he claimed. Next, how do we know that he's a man? Page 11. Oh, okay. Unless you're glad to do a marathon. He was born of a virgin. The virgin will conceive and give birth

43 to a son. Critics are still trying to figure that out. Let them figure it out. Like I said earlier, without Jesus, this world would have been nothing or nowhere. So, let them keep, you know, pondering and thinking and uh debating. Jesus was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and he is, you know, he did not come into, you know, because he's the Lord and the God, you know, he did not come on a cloud, you know, with a crown. He came through a womb, through a virgin girl. He grew up talking about his human side. The boy grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men. I like the point what you put, you know, the one who spoke galaxies into existence had to learn his ABCs. Hallelujah. The one who is wisdom wisdom in himself, you know, was growing in wisdom. What a beauty. What a beauty about Jesus Christ. What humility.

47 What submission. Number three, he felt what we feel. He felt grief at Lazarus' tomb. He had sorrow in the Garden of Gethsemane. He was amazed at the Centurion's faith. He showed love to the young ruler and everyone who came to him. He showed anger at the Pharisees and the tax collectors and and and and not the tax collectors to what the Pharisees and and and the teachers of the law who did not recognize him. He had compassion. He was in distress. So, Jesus went through all the emotions that you and I go through. You know, so that he could represent us before the Father. Amen. He experienced what we experience. He grew tired. He grew hungry. He was thirsty. He was tempted. He felt agony and he died. Talking about his human side. He prayed. Why would God pray? You know, I mean I mean there was no

50 need for God to pray, but just showing us his human side. That he needed the strength of his Father while here on this earth. He rose up early in the morning. Many times the Bible says he went early in the morning to pray. Early in the night you know, he would spend nights in prayer. You know, before he would take major decisions. So, he prayed and he prayed and he prayed and even today he is still praying for you and me. Amen. Hallelujah. All right, so let's go on the two natures, one person. You know, so like we earlier read, you know, he is not a mixture of both God and man. You know, he is fully God and fully human. So, Philippians chapter 2 verse 7 it says there he emptied himself by taking the form of a servant. So, what did Jesus Christ empty himself? Was it his divine nature? No, he did not lose his divine nature. He emptied himself of his

55 divine privileges. He didn't lose his nature, he lost or he emptied his divine privileges. He took the form of a servant not by force but out of love that compelled him to embrace the limitations of human weaknesses. Hallelujah. You know, because he wanted to be dependent and obedient to God the Father. Only a fully human could represent humanity and pay the penalty for sin and only fully God could provide a sufficient sacrifice. No mere man, however good, could pay the sins of the world. Only Jesus could. Amen. Hallelujah. And so we have him as the mediator that Timothy talks about. There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ. He is fully man to represent us and fully God to redeem us. You know, Jesus

58 as a man, he understands our needs and as God, he's able to meet our needs. Hallelujah. What a beautiful What a beautiful combination of Jesus. So the threefold office of Jesus Christ, we see is a prophet, priest and the king. So traditionally we'll we'll start with a prophet. You know, a prophet is somebody that would utter the word of God to the people. You know, that will bring God's revelation to the people. You know, he would speak on behalf of God, but Jesus did not come from God's presence. He was God himself that came as flesh. Yeah? So, prophet spoke about God, Jesus spoke as God. Hallelujah. You know, so he proclaimed as a prophet the kingdom of the heaven. Teaching parables and sermons, he

02 revealed the Father. He spoke the truth. And because he is the truth, and he continues to reveal the truth through the Holy Spirit who is given who is promised to us. And the Holy Spirit is not bringing us the new revelation. What the Holy Spirit is doing is revealing more about the finished revelation of Jesus Christ. Revealing more of the truth of Jesus Christ. And soon like we like we studied earlier, you know, soon and very soon there is going to be the biggest revelation of Jesus Christ and he's going to come in clouds of glory. And we will all see him face-to-face. Amen. Amen. So, Christ as the priest, what did he do? His reconciling work. As a priest, he brings us back to God. We were all lost in sin, but as a priest, he brings us back to God. Two great movements of the priestly nature of God in fact is, you know, he's the priest and the sacrifice.

07 In the Old Testament, there was a priest that would that somebody had to take the sacrifice to, but Jesus was both the priest who offered the sacrifice and the sacrifice himself. So, two movements we see is atonement. We'll come to that on the next page. Or or or we'll come to that box. You know, intercession. He is praying for us. On earth, he prayed. John, you know, chap- two three chapters are dedicated for his prayers for for the disciples and right now he's sitting at the right hand of the Father. He's presenting righteousness on the behalf of us and you know, he's justifying us to the Father when the devil comes accusing you. Hey, you've done that mistake. Hey, you've gone wrong. Hey, you sinned again. Hey, you did not pray. Hey, you did not do. Hey, you did this. You know, Jesus is standing there and interceding for you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Many a times it was not your prayer that saved you because you did not even pray. It is

09 Jesus' intercession that protected you. Hallelujah. He's interceding for us. He's interceding even now. Amen. At the right hand of the Father. Atonement. Oh, beautiful. Five truths about the atonement of Jesus Christ. You know, substitution which means Jesus took our place. We were the one that were to be hanging, that were to be put to death, but he took our place. You know, the religion will say you must earn your way, but the cross says he has taken your place. Hallelujah. Sacrifice means he offered himself once and for all. You know, you or I don't have to rely on repeated efforts or rituals. The cross declares a finished work. Amen. Propitiation meaning God's justice is fully satisfied. The world is, you know, filled with fear and oh, what will happen? God will punish me. Karma. The cross says that

12 justice is dealt in love. Hallelujah. Amen. Ransom. We are bought and set free. Where humanity, you know, is running after, you know, eternity, moksha, salvation, escape from bondage. The cross proclaims a true freedom from sin and death. No one can escape Jesus Christ. No one can miss Jesus Christ. Are you looking for, you know, salvation? You don't have to do anything. Come to Jesus. Surrender your life. He's done it all for you. Receive his free gift. Reconciliation, meaning the war is over. Restored back to God. You know, you don't have to die to get into paradise. Believe in Jesus. He will bring heaven right now into your heart. And you will enjoy freedom and full life. Amen. One cross, five truths. What a beauty of the atonement. Christ as the king. He's a sovereign lord and king over all.

19 You know, in the Old Testament, kings were anointed to rule, to judge, and to defend people. But Jesus claimed, he said when he was ascending, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." Amen. Hallelujah. You know, you are serving the lord of lords and king of kings. And so, when he was ascending, he also gave us one commandment. You know, go and make disciples. All of us who are saved, all of us who believe in Jesus Christ, you've been saved for 20 years, 30 years, or maybe the last year, maybe the last month. You know, don't be happy just with that. Go tell somebody. Make disciples. Tell them the gospel of Jesus Christ. Bring them to church, you know, we are expanding the church, you know, services. Bring them to church. Tell them there is place in the house of the Lord because there is place in the heart of Jesus for you. Amen. He's the king of kings and the lord of lords. He is ruling today. His reign is from everlasting to everlasting. One day his kingship will come. It will be fully revealed. And the

22 sin and death and the enemy will be bound, will be will will will bow down, will be defeated. Hallelujah. He is returning soon and in conclusion You know, the study of Jesus Christ should not just be for our knowledge. It should bring us to our knees. Oh, how much You know, I was amazed as I was running through the notes. You know, the more you learn about Jesus, you end up crying, you end up amazed, you end up You end up speechless. Amen. Amen. That is our Lord. The more you study, you end up surrender. You know, he's a person that you and I can love. He's not a distant God. He's right here, one call away, and he will come into your life. You know, let us not be like the Pharisees who, you know, knew those scripture, but did not know the scripture himself. So, all our

28 you know, our efforts should be that we draw closer to Jesus as we learn about him. He became flesh out of love to invite us into a relationship with him. He is the eternal son of God. He lived the life we could never live, died the death we deserve to die, and rose in power of an indestructible life so that you and I will have a new beginning. Amen. Let's give the Lord a hand of praise. Hallelujah. Let's pray. Father, we want to thank you for this beautiful morning. We thank you, Lord God, for the beauty of your son, Jesus Christ. And we thank you for giving us this beautiful name. The name above every other name. That we could have a glimpse, just a glimpse that we could have to study this morning of this beautiful great

32 God, our savior, our Lord. Come and bless the rest of this morning in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. God bless us. Let's put our hands together welcome our dear pastor. >> Thank you Pastor Justin for that beautiful Bible study on the Lordship the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ. You know, I tell you sometimes no on Sundays you are seeing the biggest miracle. Such a big topic in 40 minutes. So beautifully covered, so wonderfully expressed. You know, really >> [applause] >> What a what a lovely thank you Pastor Justin. Thank you uh for the lovely Bible study. >> [snorts] >> Want to thank Pastor Isaac Santosh all the way from NALG Chennai coming today and leading worship. Thank you Pastor. We really enjoy your worship leading. Thank you very much. Thank you very much.

34 Um >> [snorts and clears throat] >> a few quick announcements before we uh pray for those who need prayer. Uh First I want to welcome all of you, those who have come to this church for the first time. We appreciate your presence. Thank you for coming. Yeah, God bless you and uh I would greatly encourage you to make this your spiritual home. Keep coming regularly. Get involved in the church. Uh before you leave today outside there is a place called guest lounge. Guest lounge. Just look for it, you will find it. Please get in there. Some of us are waiting there to meet you, greet you, treat you, pray with you, collect your details and then let you go so we can keep in touch with you. You give your detail in restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets. Church you give it now it will be a blessing in your life. Every other place your phone number is there. >> [music] >> You give it in the church. Let your phone number be in a holy place. It is a blessing. Okay? So, yeah.

35 So, don't give phone number and you go missing. You come every week and be a blessing. If you're going to some other church and you came here as a visitor, please go back with our blessings and be a blessing to your pastor. But if you're not going to a Bible-based church, not going to a spirit-filled church, please come. [music] Make this your spiritual home. A very important announcement. This is about kids church, but many of you parents here, we have over 1,000 plus kids at at the moment in the kids church. So, the new academic year is starting next Sunday. And therefore this announcement is very important. Number one, [music] infant care is available for mothers with children up to 2.5 years age. Okay? With the option to attend the service from inside. So, please make use of that. Between the age of 2.5 to 6 years, if your child is between that age, then please send your child to hall number one. Okay? The kids church hall number one. It is primarily for the kindergarten aged children. Now, if your child is age 6 plus to age 10, then

43 please send them to hall number two. That is basically covering grade one to grade five. Right? So, if your child is in the school from grade one to grade five, send them to hall number two. If your child is from grade six to grade 10, which is age group of 11 to 16, then please send them to hall number three. So, when you come here on Sunday, you know, just leave them in hall three and then you come here and when you go back, don't forget to pick them up. >> [snorts] >> Okay? And if your child is about 10th grade in the school, then please have them come and sit with you in the main hall with their mobile phone off and you can show them how to off it by offing your own mobile phone. And attend worship God together as a family. So, this is something that from next Sunday you can and if in case when you're inviting your family, friends, sometimes they have children, please help them to you know, go along with this. Number

44 three, a very important announcement about pastoral counseling. Many of you need spiritual support, you need assistance. Some of you in the city of Bangalore, sometimes you're not sure how to take things forward. You're buying a house, you're making an investment with somebody who claims to be starting a business and not too sure how to move forward. Please take prayer, take assistance, find right people. Pastors are here to give you counseling in when I say pastors, I'm talking about all the pastors that are in the church, five, six of us. All of the associate pastors are involved in counseling especially with marriage and relationships and today that has become the most important thing. I am shocked to know that Bangalore city has the highest number of private detectives employed by couples trying to find out about each other after marriage. Now, before marriage R&D very required but after marriage instead of asking directly having to appoint a private

47 detective, thank God in our church such cases are not there. Amen. But the world is full of chaos, never become a participant in that. So, the church [music] pastors are available during the week. All of this is free of cost, but that doesn't mean you should waste their time. If you require the assistance, then you come. Don't say "Oh, I was passing, simply I came." Honestly, pastors are quite overloaded, but do come if you need premarital guidance. Now, after marriage, don't come and ask "Did I marry the right one?" Before marriage, you know, come for guidance, come for marital support, couples enrichment in your marriage, in case you're going through or you went through a divorce, you went through a separation, and recovery from that sometimes is not easy. And [music] parental guidance. So, come meet the pastors. Maybe for personal growth in your career, you need development. You want to pray about your financial guidance, or you're recovering from some kind of addiction, and you

50 need help. Pastors are available to counsel you from God's word and pray with you. You know, especially counseling in different life stages, whether it is support about children, youth, young adults, or as a senior, or in your spiritual life, you're looking for a spiritual discipleship. You know, [music] don't go run around behind fellows who claim want to be your spiritual father. All these things are little bit It's good to be careful. I just want to say this very humbly. The Bible says in the Gospel of Matthew, "Call no man father on the earth, for he alone is your heavenly father." In the spiritual world, all these new age prophets and new age fathers, yes, there is a place for spiritual parenting, there is no doubt about it, but yet the abuse of it is not acceptable in the scripture. So, it is so important that you do consult the pastors when you have doubts in your life, or you want some discernment on your calling, or you want to be restored because you're going through a season of repentance, and you're coming back, or

53 you're going through grief, you know, because you lost somebody, or there's a personal crisis, or you're recovering from some kind of abuse, and and you need trauma. The other day a young lady told me, "You know, in one place I got abused so badly, so I went to another place and shared my problem and they understood I was vulnerable and they abused me there." So, she [snorts] went to the police finally and got all of them behind bars and then she found us on the social media. So, she was very scared, so she came with a friend. So, when she found that I was not sitting in a closed room, I usually sit in the main church and meet people. That happened because of COVID. During COVID time sitting in one small room was such an inconvenient thing, no? So, I decided to sit here in the main hall, so I would sit in the main hall with a small partition and start meeting people. She felt nice. She thought, "Okay, at least this is like a open place." And she first question she asked me is, "Am I safe with you?" What to tell such people? Am I safe with you?

55 And [snorts] I said, "You'll know that by the end of the conversation." You know, how can I tell you in the beginning? My In fact, your question makes me wonder, "Am I safe with you?" And then she began to cry and she told her stories and I felt so sad. Yes, people go through abuse, but yes, church is a safe place where you can come. Just that we are not available. You're a young lady and and you want to talk in private and yes, but we are not available in a coffee shop. We are not available to sit alone outside the church premises because we we we value you, we respect you, but we also respect the society in which we live. So, there is a way in which we are willing to help out and that is in the premises of the church in the open where you can sit and talk to any of the pastors and they're there to help you and meet you and pray with you. A pastor, I'm a young man. I'll take you to a coffee shop. Yeah, please come here. Okay. In today's traffic, you know, it's best you come here, so pastors are able to meet more people and pray with them. Today after the service, pastors are available to pray for all who need

58 prayer. Shall we all stand? We'll sing a song and then we'll pray and close. Today was a long list of announcements. You endured the whole thing. Thank you so very much. May your blessing be on that act of worship.
