Psalm 71:8 NKJV

“Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all the day.”

What fills our mouths each day? Is it a chorus of worries, complaints, or doubts? Or is it praise? The psalmist reminds us to allow our hearts and lips to overflow with gratitude for who God is and all He has done for us.

Life can often feel turbulent with challenges, setbacks, and moments of discouragement. Yet, even in the hardest times, we can still choose to fill our mouths with praise. Why? Because God is good, all the time. His love is unchanging, His grace is abundant, and His presence is constant in our lives.

Praise isn’t just for when things are going well—it’s a powerful act of faith in every season of life. When we fill our mouths with worship instead of worry, we shift our focus from our problems to God’s great power. Praise reveals to us that He is in control, and He is always working all things out for our good.

Today, let your words be filled with thanksgiving. Speak of God’s greatness. Sing of His everlasting love. Let praise fill your heart and overflow from your lips, all day long.

Prayer: Lord, allow me to fill my mouth with praise today. No matter what comes my way, let my heart declare Your goodness and faithfulness. Amen.
