Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
When Jane relocated to a new country, she found a job and quickly managed to settle into her new life. Since driving was essential for convenience, she decided to take driving lessons, despite her anxiety levels hitting the roof about the new challenge. On her first lesson, she felt knots in her stomach. However, she was reassured by her calm instructor not to worry, as the vehicle had dual controls for safety. This support helped her overcome her fear and build her confidence. Finally, she learnt to drive.
Let Jane’s story be a reminder that you are not navigating life alone. It’s not all on you. Your future and success do not solely depend on you. Today, take the pressure off of you and linger in that sweet hour of prayer. God’s got you! Just like Jane’s driving instructor had control of the car, allow God to take control of your life through absolute obedience to the Holy Bible. God can change situations that you can’t.
If you feel discouraged or anxious, remember that you are not alone! God is telling you today – Do not fear! Don’t be discouraged, as Jehovah is your God, and He is with you. He is offering to strengthen you in your weaknesses and help you, and be your fortress in time of need. He will lift you with His righteous right hand of authority. Surrender to Him as He is sovereign over you!
