2 Corinthians 9:8
God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
In his letter, Paul conveys a powerful, positive, and inspiring message to the people of Corinth. He affirms that God is not only able to meet our expectations but exceed them!
God loves to care for us, bless us, and provide for our needs. We must allow this truth to settle in our hearts and permeate our minds. We should lean into His promises and truly believe that if He says He will do it, He will!
Our Lord Jesus Christ taught that even the smallest gift, when given with the right heart, will not go unrewarded. Not only is God able, but He is also willing to provide for us abundantly. He is the God of abundance! Just as we read in Psalm 23:5, He will make our cup overflow.
When God rewards our good work, He does it with all grace. God Almighty Himself acknowledges our giving to those in need. Consequently, He rewards us materially, physically, and above all, spiritually. God liberates our hearts from the tyranny of greed and materialism and grants us a sense of contentment and happiness. There is no end to the ways we can be blessed by our God. Let us never forget that our God is ABLE!
Let us pray and thank our Father for His eternal love, which is unstoppable, and for providing us with all the supplies to meet our every need. May we strive to be a blessing to others, living not as reservoirs but as channels of God’s blessings. Amen!
