Great is Your Faithfulness!

Psalm 37:3

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.

Today’s verse emphasizes fully trusting in our mighty God and doing what is right. By doing so, we will prosper and live safely in the land.

We need to trust and depend solely on our mighty God for protection and support, as well as to fulfill His promises in our lives. We should refrain from putting our trust in men, riches, and other things that will fade and perish. Instead, by placing our trust in the Lord, we will find everlasting strength and riches for eternity.

We must strive to practice good and do what is right in the sight of the Lord, even during our waiting periods. Furthermore, we should demonstrate love and kindness to others through our actions so that we please our Lord—for all good actions lead to eternal rewards.

‘Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness’ refers to God’s protection and provision. As our Lord Jesus Christ mentioned in John 15:4-5, we cannot bear fruit unless we abide in Him. It does not imply that we will never encounter difficulties or possess all the wealth we desire. However, it does signify that God will accompany us throughout life’s journey.

He is a faithful God, and His faithfulness is new every morning. He will feed us like a Shepherd and guide us through all life’s valleys. So, let’s allow His faithfulness to dominate our thoughts always.

Let us pray and entrust everything to our loving Father’s hands, and commit to actions that are pleasing in His sight. Let us remind ourselves of the faithfulness that He has shown us, at all times. Amen!
