Psalm 9:10
“Those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.”
Psalm 9 reminds us that God deeply cares for us, especially in times of trouble. It reassures us that He will never abandon us. Whenever we feel oppressed, afflicted, or treated unjustly, God Himself becomes our stronghold.
A child discovers their parents’ love not only through words, but also through every moment of being caught when they fall, being comforted when they are hurt, and being guided when they are lost. Similarly, we discover God’s faithfulness through His constant presence and care in our lives. His faithfulness has never failed. God is righteous, and He will deal justly with all forms of wrongdoing. We only have to lift our eyes to Him and place our trust in Him; He will take care of us.
When we speak the name of our Lord Jesus and trust Him, He will pour out His grace and love abundantly on us. So, let us turn to our Savior and seek Him. He is ready to meet us right where we are and to walk with us through whatever we face in our lives.
Prayer: We praise You, God, for never leaving us alone. Help us trust You with all our hearts, knowing that as we seek You, You will never forsake us. When trouble comes our way today, may we immediately recognize that You are our stronghold and our refuge.
