Psalm 138:2

I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

What is it about other people that attracts us the most? At first, we may be drawn to their physical appearance, wealth, power, or influence. Yet, beyond these superficial qualities, it’s their character, reliability, and trustworthiness that truly matter. When we find someone with such virtues, we value their presence and hold them close for a lifetime.

The unfortunate reality is that people who embody such virtues are increasingly rare, and encountering them can feel almost impossible in today’s world. Let this not discourage you, for what people often cannot fulfil, the Lord of the Holy Bible can.

Today’s verse reveals God’s faithfulness, unchanging love, and unwavering commitment to those who trust in Him. It’s God’s character that makes Him worthy of our worship.

The Lord of the Holy Bible is not a distant God, seated far away and merely watching us from afar. Rather, He is a personal God who comes down to meet us where we are. He knows our struggles, understands our weaknesses, and cares deeply for His children.

If you are feeling lonely, let down, rejected, or betrayed, do not lose hope. There is Someone who loves you unconditionally, and He is the One who truly matters. Time and again, He has proven Himself faithful and has demonstrated His ability to fulfil every promise He makes.

While human beings may fail and disappoint, God remains steadfast and true. His faithfulness stands as a testimony to His character, and His reputation is inseparable from His name. You can trust Him completely, for He never abandons those who place their hope in Him. Praise His name forever!
