Psalm 30:5 “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”

When you accept Christ into your life, there are dark forces that come against you and they will do anything to pull you back from the love of God, but the blood is against the enemy and as long as you are covered by the blood of the lamb, no weapon formed against you shall prosper and what you need to do is, pray without ceasing, you need to develop good character and constantly work hard on your faith and live a life pleasing to the eyes of the Lord because it is written “faith without works is dead”. If you only believe and don’t do anything to come up to the standards God expects you to be in, it would open doors for the enemy to attack you. Some of us go through pain because of our choices and sometimes because of the world we live in, there are some challenges that we face because God allows it, He doesn’t cause it, but He allows it, you won’t know how to enjoy life if you don’t know what pain is. We learn life’s lesson’s only through bad times and not through good times.

You try to fight the enemy with your strength, especially when you haven’t reached a level of anointing where you can’t overcome him, it’s hard to rebuke that evil with whom you’ve just stopped hanging out 2 weeks ago because he knows your every weakness, so the simplest way to win every time is to “not get in the ring” stay out of the ring and throw some scriptures into the ring, tell him “the battle belongs to the Lord” and “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

You can overcome the enemy through Christ and remember to seek Him (God) in all your ways, acknowledging Him. Even if you’ve lost your way, run back to Him, He has loved you with an everlasting love. When you suffer, that’s not the END, your mourning will turn into dancing, and your joy will come in the morning. You’re not destined to live a defeated life but a victorious one.
