Philippians 4:21: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
The body that we live in is subject to death and decay one day. When Christ comes back, He will change our weak body into a glorious body, like His.
Our body becomes weak day by day, it loses its charm and beauty. Our eyes which used to help us see will one day become dim. We are prone to more temptation day by day and we have to keep fighting every day in prayer to overcome it. Soon, there will be a day when Jesus will come and transform our lowly bodies into a glorious body. There will be no more pain and suffering. No more sickness and crying. We will be with the One who loved us and gave His life for us. Oh what a glorious day that day is going to be! We have to live our life every day waiting for that glorious moment, that glorious and awesome day when we are going to see Jesus face to face. We don’t have to worry about keeping our bodies in shape and fitness then because it is going to be a glorious body. Live your life each day for Jesus. Overcome temptations in the name of Jesus. The struggle and the pain that we undergo here is for just for a moment.
Look unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith. Let us live a life that is pleasing to God, our Father. Let Him be the One who rules our life. Amen.
