Proverbs 15:29 “The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.”
Some of you out there have tried to pray but you always get distracted and the devil lies to you and puts you down, see the thing is, God wants to hear from you, that’s the beauty of our God, He will never walk out on you but He is willing to come into your life. He isn’t going to force anything on you because He is someone who gives you the choice to make, let’s face it, life is nothing and meaningless without Christ, He alone can make a difference.
If you find it hard to pray then think about the situations that make you not want to pray, is it your cell phones?, your TV or crowded places? Whatever the hindrances are, shun them out when you sit down to pray, find a place where you get to be all alone and put away your phones and laptops and concentrate on Christ alone, believe me, you will experience Him listening to every word you speak. If its bitterness or guilt that’s not letting you pray, you have to deal with it but not alone, hand it over to Jesus, you need to let it go because there is no life without Christ.
