Guiltless before God

Acts 23:1:  And Paul earnestly beholding the council, said, men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.

Paul boldly stated to the council that he lived in all good conscience before God until the day that he stood before them.  It takes a lot of challenge to stand guiltless before God in this corrupted society.   If Paul, who was once a zealous man for his tradition, could stand up for God, how much more should we as children of God be able to say like how Paul said?

Maintaining a good relationship with God and having a guiltless conscience before God is a good character trait for a believer.  It is so easy for us to stand faultless before men through crooked ways.  God sees your heart always and not just your deeds.  God wants us to be people of integrity.  God wants us to live a clean life and a life of pure conscience.  David was a man after God’s heart.  Even when he sinned, he repented of his sin and never repeated it.  We cannot be all perfect.  We err and sin sometimes, but if we repent our sins before God, He will forgive us our sins.  At the end of the day, God wants us to have a good conscience, a conscience that will not condemn us, a conscience that approves us of our deeds of the day.

Be faithful and just before God.  Ask God everyday to give you grace to live a life that is holy and pure before God.  Strive with all your heart to lead a life that is acceptable and guilt free before God.  God bless you.
