Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him. Psalm 68:4
Singing, praising, and rejoicing are acts done in joy. When a person is singing and rejoicing, he or she is considered to be happy about something. When a person is praising someone, it connotes that the praise is for a person of great worth and value. Every time the kings and queens of nations are addressed, as His majesty or Her majesty, as an act of praising them.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 68, that we are to address GOD with praises in our mouth. We are to call HIM through praises, for HE is a worthy GOD, and all praises are due unto HIM. When we commune with GOD, despite our heaviness in the spirit, or sadness in our countenance we must firmly believe that GOD will change our mourning into dancing, our sorrows into joy, and will persuade us to sing new songs unto HIM.
HE is able to lead us out of depression, anxiety, stress, and panic. Trust HIM and take your brokenness to HIM with praise on your lips, and songs in your mouth, and you will rejoice in your heart. Step by step and one day at a time, we will win our battle against depression, anxiety, and stress. We will overcome, with HIS praises, for we know that HE IS ABLE, and HE IS GOD.
