Isaiah 54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
God deals victoriously with His people. He makes them more than conquerors. He does the job, He fights our battles, He puts down our enemies but the victory is given to His children. So, in that sense, we are more than conquerors. No weapon that is formed against us shall ever prosper. Every tongue that shall rise against us in judgment, we shall condemn. This is the heritage or the inheritance of the servants of God.
Aren’t we blessed to serve such a God, who makes us walk triumphantly every day? He defeats every scheme and/weapon that is fashioned by the enemy against our prosperity and success. Whatever the devil plans against a child of God will be nullified and made void. No matter how much he tries, he will lose miserably. When God has designed and planned your life, no evil thought against you shall ever prosper. Every accusations and negative things that people speak against you to condemn or discourage you, the Lord says, you will condemn. Use the tongue to speak blessings over yourself and over everything that concerns you but rebuke and refute every wicked thing.
God says this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. This is our inheritance, i.e., to enjoy God’s protection and rest in His favour while trampling the devil under the foot.
