Ephesians 2: 4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.
We’ve heard there’s nothing as important as “location, location, location”. But there is something just as important as our location…
The Lord Jesus was on the cross. He was beaten, battered, and bruised by the Roman soldiers. On either side of Him were two others who were also hung on crosses. Unlike Jesus who wasn’t guilty of any misdoing, these individuals were punished for their crimes.
They certainly must have frequented the wrong locations when they were free men. But, in their last moments, they had been gifted the right location to guarantee eternal life.
If “location” was everything, both criminals would have received eternal life. However, only one of them had the right attitude to ask Jesus for eternal life, while the other mocked Him. The one who asked was blessed, the other lived out his last moments in regret.
There are two principles to receiving God’s blessings:
- Stay in the location where God has planted you. Often, this is where we prove to God that we are ready for the next phase (future location) of His plans for our lives.
- Have the right attitude throughout the journey – whether it is in the present or future location.
God loves us and wants to bless us. Do we have the right attitude for it?
