Fix your eyes on Jesus

Psalm 25:15:  Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

When stuck in a no-coming out situation, just fasten your eyes on to God.  Don’t look at what is keeping or holding you down.  If you do so, you will be in that situation for long.  Instead, have faith in God and look unto Him for a way out from the no-coming out situation.

The psalmist here says that his eyes are forever towards the Lord. It means that he constantly looks unto God for his help and support.  He doesn’t look at his troubles or challenges.  He is not moved by what is going on around him neither is he distracted by them.  His constant gaze is upon the Lord, his God.  He knew where to get help from.  He never thought of asking for help from his army or his soldiers.  He just wanted to acknowledge that God was his refuge.  He is rest assured that God will pluck his feet out of the net or in other words God will lift him up from his troublesome situation and set him free.

Where are we looking at?  Let us shift our focus from looking at our condition to looking at Jesus.  No matter what we go through, it is God alone who can deliver us out of our troubled life.  Troubles will come, but it is God who will keep set us free and safe.  Fix your eyes on Jesus.
