2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
Salvation is the greatest gift that God presented to us! But, just because God gave it freely, it doesn’t mean we have it already. It is up to us to receive it by faith, knowing that the precious blood of Jesus has forgiven our every sin.
Don’t live life with the burden of guilt and miss out on salvation. God has forgiven you completely. Have you forgiven yourself?
When the Israelites were embarking on the great exodus from Egypt, the Lord ensured that the Egyptians gave the Israelites their gold and silver. In fact, the Israelites literally plundered the Egyptians before leaving their country.
A few months later, while Moses was atop Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments, his brother Aaron was designing a golden calf for the Israelites to worship.
God had every reason to be furious. He had delivered the people of Israel from their captors and blessed them with treasures beyond their wildest expectations. Now, the Israelites were worshipping a golden calf sculpted from the very gold with which God had blessed them.
But, our God is merciful! Though the people weren’t faithful to Him, He was faithful to them. Even when Aaron (the man who witnessed God’s miracles firsthand) turned his back on God, God did not forsake him.
Aaron went on to become the first high priest of Israel. He was the first man to enter the Holy of Holies!
There is no sin too big for God to forgive. He will wash away every sin and give us the gift of salvation. Are we ready to forgive ourselves and accept His precious gift?
