Freedom from Fear

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. “KJV

Among all the countless promises made by our Father in Heaven, one promise that comes out as remarkable and reassuring is the promise made by Him to all of us in the above verse.

We all experience fear in our lives. It grips us in various ways. The fear of losing a loved one, the fear of a fatal disease, the fear of losing one`s job, the fear of rejection, depression, abandonment etc. We can never completely eradicate the fear factor from our lives, but as blessed believers, we can definitely overcome them. Our ever so faithful God, in the above verse has very beautifully and firmly reminded us that emotions like fear and disappointment is not an option for the ones who believe in Him. He reiterates the fact that He is our God and as long as He is in control of our lives, He will graciously and generously give us the support and the strength that we may require to face our troubles and also give us the grace and the power to overcome them all. He promises to deliver us from our hopeless situations and our grim circumstances with His righteousness right hand.

The God who created the universe and everything that is in it has given us His word. We should be so blessed to receive such a powerful promise from the Almighty God who is perfect, holy, pure and righteous in all His ways. We have been freed from the bondage of anxiety and hopelessness by His word.

Matthew 24:35 verse says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” God`s word is forever. It does not come with an expiry date and nor is it only for a few chosen ones. His word is for all who hear it and believe in it.

Today God has promised us all, His unwavering word. Are we ready to submit all the burdens we carry unto His mighty feet, so that we can accept His promise? Get ready to say goodbye to all your worries and fears from this very moment because once you give all your fears to Him, it is no longer yours to deal with.
