Give Praise to God

Psalm 50:14

“Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High”

When we go through times of trouble, when everything around us seems to be going wrong, God is our refuge and our strength. We call upon God to bring us out of our times of trouble and He never lets us down. Have we thought about what God wants in return from us for His love and faithfulness?

God’s love and faithfulness are not conditional. We are His children and He delights in us. All God wants from us is a thankful heart and an obedient spirit. No matter where you are or what you are going through, always give praise to God for He is a good God and a loving father. We don’t need to impress God or get His attention with our rituals and customs of worship. Those are not the things that God desires from His children.

God’s desire is to hear the honest heartfelt prayer of His children. He wants our praise, worship, and thanksgiving from a pure heart. He wants us to keep the promises that we made to Him. God wants to have a conversation with us. He wants to talk to us like we talk to our parents. He wants to hear us tell Him about our joys, sorrows, successes, and failures. trials and troubles.

It is important for us to worship our God, to confess our sins to Him, to give Him all the praise and glory, and thank Him for His Goodness and mercy.
