He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. Psalm 91:15 NKJV
Troubles have no selection process for humans; they come to everyone—the rich, the poor, the healthy, the unhealthy, the joyful, and the depressed. At this point in our lives, everyone living on this earth is going through some form of trouble or challenge.
So what makes a child of God any different? Does trouble avoid us? Do we escape the troubles of this life? In fact, Jesus, our Lord, said in John 16:33, “In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” The only difference is that when faced with troubles, we must call upon our God instead of turning to alcohol. We must cry out to our Abba Father instead of drowning our sorrows in drugs. We should speak to the Living God instead of talking to people who will lead us away from God.
Psalm 91 is a psalm of comfort. Our God assures us that when we call upon Him, He will answer. It doesn’t say He might answer; rather, it says He will answer. God goes further and gives us the comfort of His presence, saying, “I will be with him in trouble.” And finally, He not only has our back, but He is the all-powerful One who will lift us out of trouble and restore our reputation.
So today, whatever your troubles may be, be sure that in these troubling times, God will answer, God is with you, and God will lead you out of this mess. God will restore your reputation. Just call on Him and see His word come true.
Amen . Yes he is good father no matter how we are he will always there for us.
