GOD REALLY KNOWS YOU

Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Think of a person you know – not including your own children – now think when you met this person. How far back can you go to remember when you met?  

Our God knows us even before the world was made – He has sanctified us since then, that is, He has set us apart for Him, for His Glory. 

And just as He used Jeremiah to be a prophet to the nations and to speak His truth to men of power and influence, so can we be used – if this is our calling. Then, some of us may be prophets only in our own homes, to our own families and friends, to speak about Jesus, who is The Truth, The Way and The Life. 

The Lord has a purpose for each one of us whom He knew and formed and called. We are precious to Him who created us, who wonderfully and fearfully made us. Our frame was not hidden from Him when we were made in secret; His eyes saw our unformed body and all the days ordained for us were written in His book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139). 

Our God is amazing. He knows us and He has loved us with a love that we cannot explain – but a Love we can only accept and receive.
