Psalm 30:5 – For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.”
We all have our good days and bad days. We tend to assume that God is favorable to us only when all is well in our world. But God does not change like shifting shadows. His favor towards His children is unending. Yes, we may face many trials and storms during the course of our lives, but God’s presence remains with us through it all.
If you’ve sinned or backslidden in your relationship with God, it’s time to repent and get back to your first love. No sin is too great for Him to pardon. The blood of Jesus cleanses you and restores you to the Father.
If you’re going through a difficult time in your life for no fault of yours, don’t despair. The Lord is with you. Take hope in the Psalmist’s words above… You may be weeping through the night, but it’s going to dawn soon. You will find joy when your morning comes. In the meantime, cling tighter to God than ever before. He will be with you through the night and lead you into your morning.
