Grace that Justifies

Acts 13:39 NKJV

By Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

This verse captures the core truth of the Christian faith: justification by faith alone, separate from the works of the law. It underscores the profound significance of faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is granted, not through our deeds or adherence to the law, but through belief in Him. This means that by placing our faith in Christ, we are declared righteous before God. Our sins are forgiven, and we are restored to a right relationship with Him.

This draws a powerful contrast between the law of Moses and the grace of God. The law, while inherently good, was never able to provide the complete righteousness that we, as humans, require. It highlighted our need for a Savior but could not fulfill it. Only through faith in Jesus Christ can we achieve true justification. Salvation cannot be earned by human effort, personal merit, or strict obedience to religious rules. Rather, it is a divine gift of grace, extended freely to all who believe in Christ.

Let us rest in the assurance of God’s grace, trusting not in our own works, but in Christ’s finished work. It’s an invitation to live by faith, acknowledging that our salvation is a gift, not an achievement.

Lord, thank You for the gift of grace and the freedom of salvation through faith in Christ alone.
