Have Faith And Doubt Not!

Matthew 21:21 – “…if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, it will be done.”

Can we say that the size of our faith determines the size of the miracles we will experience?

Moses had faith and the Red Sea parted (Exodus 14:21-22); Joshua had faith and they crossed the Jordan carrying the Ark of the Covenant on dry ground (Joshua 3:15-16); Joshua had faith and the walls of Jericho collapsed (Joshua 6:20);  Samson had faith and he destroyed the temple of the Philistines with its idols, rulers and people (Judges 16:28-30).

Jesus? He conquered death! Hallelujah!!! Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Absolutely not!!!!

When we allow our faith to operate according to the power of God, there is no limit to what we can do.  We can walk on water. We can heal the sick. The only thing that can stop us is our doubt, and Jesus knew that, that is why He said “if you have faith and do not doubt.”

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” (Hebrews 11:1). “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.” (2 Corinthians 4:18a).  Because “hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see?” (Romans 8:24).

Father God, thank you for giving us the gift of faith. We believe that all things are possible through You.  Please help us see what our natural eyes cannot see. Our hope is in You. And in Your name we pray. Amen.
