He will come and save you!

Exodus 14:14

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.

The situation was impossible. There seemed to be no way Jenten and his family were going to get out of the mess they were in. After losing his position as a CFO in an International company, he had been left jobless for months now. He and his wife had done all they could to manage the finances, but the bills, loans, fees, rent, etc. only kept piling. They had reached the end of the rope, yet continued to hope that the Lord would breakthrough for them.

How does one cope in a situation like that? The children of Israel too, had reached the edge of the Red Sea with mountains on both sides and the Egyptian army behind.  There was absolutely no where to go and no way they could escape. Even the Pharaoh was confident that they were trapped. The couple of million people began to murmur, some doubt, some complain, some whine, some wail…there was all kinds of chaos happening. It was up to Moses to keep his calm. In the midst of this turbulence, he tried not being anxious or discouraged.

How could Moses do that? Because HE KNEW HIS LORD! He didn’t put his confidence in his own ability or his own wisdom, but leaned on the Lord’s direction in faith. What was important at this moment that all negativity be silenced, which is why he asked the people to be still and put their trust in the Lord Most High! In the time of crisis, be confident that the Lord is your deliverer and your salvation! The Lord’s hand is not too short to save, He is able to make a way even when there seems to be absolutely no other way.

Whatever be the situation you are facing today, be still and know that HE is God. Trust in Him with all of your heart, all of your mind and all of your soul. He WILL come and save you!!!
