Heart of Thanksgiving

Psalm 103:1-2  Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits.

Do you know the secret to success?

Success isn’t measured by the amount of accumulated wealth. Some of the wealthiest people in the world live in depression and loneliness.

So what is success?

Contentment is the only measure of success! And the key to contentment is a heart of thanksgiving, which does not change depending on the situation. In fact, an attitude as such in the midst of adversity is the perfect way to defeat satan.

The Holy Bible says, “Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.” – Daniel 6:10 (NIV)

How can anyone thank God when a death sentence has been passed against them?

Daniel was to be put in the lions’ den if he prayed to anyone apart from the king. But Daniel prayed to God, three times a day, giving thanks to Him for His goodness, as usual!!

Sure enough, God sent His angels to rescue Daniel when he was in the lions’ pit.

An attitude of gratitude can do wonders!

You can’t change your situation on your own. You can only change the attitude with which you tackle your situation.

It is the attitude that will determine the outcome of your situation!
