1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
For us to positively influence others, we must be cautious in these 5 areas:
- Speech
- Conduct
- Love
- Faith
- Purity
Speech: Each word we speak can either build a person or tear them down. We should be conscious to analyze our conversation using these speech filters – Is our speech true, helpful, inspiring, necessary and kind?
Conduct: Actions speak louder than words. The Bible is clear to mention that our thoughts control our actions Proverbs 4:23-27, the Bible in Psalm 119:9 gives us insight on how to live right.
Love: Loving people who love us is easy. However, our greatest command is to love everyone as Christ loves us. When we ask God, He will fill our hearts with His love for others.
In Faith: Faith is to trust God in all our situations and knowing that God knows and has the best for us.
Purity: God’s word calls us to be pure in our hearts, mind, and soul. A life of purity is a life of excellence Philippians 4:8
Excellent yes we need to trust God in all situations not just when we are in trouble
